Vacaciones perfectas frente al mar en una casa de piedra tradicional aislada con piscina

El pueblo de Marušici se encuentra en la parte oriental de Omiš Riviera, a pocos kilómetros de los destinos turísticos muy populares de la ribera de Makarska, principalmente Brela y Baška Voda, y a 13 kilómetros al oeste de la antigua ciudad de Omiš. Marušici es un pequeño pueblo turístico con hermosas playas y naturaleza. La casa está entre el pueblo de Marušići y el pueblo de Pisak. Pisak es el lugar más hermoso en la riviera de Omiš, con un antiguo pueblo histórico ubicado en un pequeño puerto, donde hay una tienda de comestibles, varios restaurantes muy bonitos y muchas playas hermosas. Pisak se encuentra a solo 15 minutos de paseo junto al mar a través de la naturaleza desde nuestra casa.

La casa está ubicada en una tranquila cala llamada 'Borak', con varias playas de guijarros bajo la sombra de los pinos y con manantiales de agua dulce. Fue construido en 1911. como una bodega para mantener el vino tinto, que era el principal producto agrícola de esta zona en ese momento. Con el tiempo, la producción de vino casi ha desaparecido, y la casa fue adaptada poco a poco para servir como casa de vacaciones. La renovación se realizó en el año 2012, cuando preparamos un apartamento en el primer piso para nuestros huéspedes. En el año 2014. renovamos el techo, el ático y la fachada de la casa en estilo tradicional y esperamos tener pronto otro apartamento en el ático, disponible para nuestros huéspedes.

Esta área es famosa por algunas de las mejores playas de guijarros en Croacia, con una entrada poco profunda que las hace ideales para los niños. El mar cristalino, las numerosas playas y la naturaleza virgen son la razón principal por la que los visitantes de todo el mundo vienen a visitarnos año tras año. Pequeño bote de 6 metros de largo para 6 personas con motor fueraborda de 6 HP que está incluido en el precio del alquiler del apartamento (incluida la gasolina también) es perfecto para explorar estas hermosas playas y bahías que rodean nuestra casa. También se puede llegar fácilmente a la isla de Brac en este barco (45 minutos en coche).

Ofrecemos alojamiento en apartamentos de 52 m2 con dos habitaciones separadas y con un sofá cama para dos personas en la sala de estar. El apartamento está ubicado en el primer piso de la casa y está totalmente equipado con equipamiento estándar, además de lavadora, cafetera, lavavajillas, internet WiFi y aire acondicionado. El apartamento tiene un pequeño balcón, gran jardín, gran terraza, piscina privada y una gran terraza para tomar el sol. Le ofrecemos servicio de entrega de comestibles y con gusto lo ayudaremos con su equipaje, todo incluido en el precio. En la terraza hay una gran barbacoa, y le proporcionaremos todo lo que necesita para que estas vacaciones sean una experiencia inolvidable para usted.

El apartamento, la piscina, el jardín y las terrazas juntas forman un área integral, y de ninguna manera están conectados con el resto de la casa. Nadie más usa o pasa por ninguna parte del área exterior: tendrá total privacidad cuando alquile nuestro apartamento.

Exceptional!

It is hard to put in words the natural beauty and serenity we experienced at this place. The setting of the old stone house at the small picturesque beach with the Dalmatian mountains in the background is breathtaking by itself. But what made our stay exceptional was Maya and Neven’s hospitality which is hard to surpass. We were treated with delicious Dalmatian specialties made by Maya, and Neven helped with our questions and requests which were all over the place - starting from making dinner reservations to organizing Mediterranean flower seeds! We arrived at a meticulously cleaned house and to our delight found that the refrigerator was already filled with fine Dalmatian food. One day Neven brought fresh fish which we grilled at the stone oven on the terrace, it was wonderful! During the days, we relaxed at the pool, swam in the crystal-clear Mediterranean Sea, or had fun with the standup paddles which were also at our disposal. Truly, we had the most amazing vacation at the beach house of Neven and Maya. Thank you for having us as your guests!

A perfect Dalmatia paradise

I don't even know where to begin with our experience at this home. It was perfect. The views are stunning, the host is incredible and the house has everything you need from a boat and a pool, to fresh herbs growing in the garden. If you are looking for a remote, private house to relax at, this is it. The nearest town is only a 20 minute walk or 10 minute drive (or boat ride) away. Thank you Neven for an incredible stay and experience!

Wir haben 10 sehr schöne Tage in dem abseits von Lärm und trubel stehenden Haus verbracht. Die Bucht lädt zum Schwimmen und Schnorcheln ein, der Pool... Alles ist sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber helfen bei allen Lebenslagen (in unserem Fall brauchten wir einen Kinderarzt) und bringen gern täglich frisches Brot oder was man sonst noch so braucht. Der Pfad vom Parkplatz zum Haus ist kurz den steilen Hang hinab aber super in Schuss, mit Stufen versehen und auch mit dem Gepäck wird geholfen. Man braucht nicht mehr als 5 Minuten, dafür ist man wirklich unter sich. Das hauseigene Boot lädt für kurze Rundfahrten ein, am Hang kann man schön spazieren und wandern. Vielen Dank noch einmal an die Gastgeber, wir können diesen schönen Fleck nur empfehlen.

Beach house

We stayed at Neven and Maia's house for 6 days and had a wonderful time. We rented the main section of the house, two bedrooms, one bath, kitchen and patio and pool outdoors. The beach is right below the pool and even though it is a public beach we didnt have any problems with noise or people. Neven and Maia are the nicest hosts and they brought us treats daily. The fresh fish was amazing grilled in the fire pit and Maia made us pastry that melted in our mouth. Not to forget the wine that was there when we arrived. Hope to meet Neven and Maia again some day. Thank you.

Perfect in every way!

The home is immaculate and a perfect beach get-away! After descending the 400 stairs, a magical beach house awaits you. The outdoor space is phenomenal. From the pool, lounge areas, lighting to the outdoor kitchen it is the perfect retreat on the Adriatic coast. We used this as our gateway to the Dalmatian coast. It worked beautifully for day tripping, but we found the property to be so relaxing, we opted to stay right at home on some days. And then there is Neven and Maja. Enough cannot be said about their generosity and kindness to their guests. We had a traditional Croatian dish, fish, meat,and nuts waiting for us each morning. All this as they prepared for their son’s wedding. What a truly special place owned by special people. Tracey and Scott

Perfect tranquility, private and beautiful

The house and location can only be described as beautiful. Immaculately presented, the owners are lovely people willing to do whatever is needed to make your stay perfect. From meeting us upon arrival and helping carry suitcases, to the homemade breaded fish and dips, to the fruit and eggs left for us in the mornings we could not have asked to meet nicer people. Once, we needed a puncture repair kit to fix our child’s inflatable...after mentioning it to Neven, the very next morning one was waiting on the table. The swimming pool was glorious, a great way to cool off quickly in between sunning ourselves, and in the evening we watched the Swifts circle and dip for a drink , beautiful. Their garden has trees with Chinee Dates or Jujube fruit, wait for the sun to turn them brown, then pick and pop them straight in your mouth they taste like little apples, amazing!, there are Aloe Vera plants along with Cactus and Rosemary which we used for cooking. The setting is stunning, the beach is stunning, the sea is stunning.....hopefully you get the idea. The use of a Boat is a nice bonus if your comfy using one, trips to Pisak to eat out were great fun (we strongly recommend a fish platter at Konoba Leut - it was lovely!) Using the boat gives access to no end of coves and small beaches all nice to visit, swimming and snorkelling opportunities are everywhere as the crystal clear water makes for good underwater viewing. All in all if your looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday with unsurpassed views, in a quiet location then you’ve found it.

Relaxing, unique Adriatic gem, right on the water with everything you could want or need

Just amazing - my family and I spent an idyllic 8 days at Neven’s property and we could not have been more pleased. Although the stairs to the house are a bit daunting, there’s really no reason to leave once you are there, The beach is uncrowded, beautiful and the water was calm and lovely. We used the pool quite a bit as well and spent lazy afternoons on the terrace hanging out and eating. Neven and his wife were incredibly gracious hosts, coming by several times with delicious homemade authentic Dalmatian food and wine. The house was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities you need. If you want a dinner out, there are several restaurants within walking or boating distance and the village nearby also has a small market and cafe. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Amazing Setting, Stop looking elsewhere

The pictures aren't as good as this house is in real life. Amazing private outdoor space with the grill and pool areas. Am already recommending this hidden gem to anyone I talk to. A balcony off the living room has amazing views and lets the breeze flow through the house. Nice kitchen and bedrooms but realistically we were only inside to shower and sleep. Neven was a great host and provided us with anything you could want. Having a gated parking area was very nice. The walk up and down the stairs is pretty long but gives amazing views of the house and beach to where you cant hold in your excitement. There are people on the beach late morning to mid afternoon but never was it crowded. The walk along the path to Pisak right behind the house is about 20-25 minutes of easy hiking so you can buy anything you forgot or do what we did and have a couple dinners there. We alternated these dinners with grilling fish and drinking wine on the patio and outdoor kitchen space. The sunset in the evening and then having the pool lights at night make for excellent relaxing evenings outdoors. We did day trips around Croatia a few of the days and then used the boat another to cruise up and down the coast. Nowhere else in any of our travels did we see a house with a good a setting as this. Private, on the water, outdoor cooking and pool area. It is unmatched.

Dream House and wonderful hosts

We spent wonderful time with our 2 kids in this beautiful Croatian villa. The house and all surroundings are perfectly finished and well equipped with everything you may need for a 5 star holiday time. The house is directly on the beach giving you privacy and amazing views. We were thrilled every single day. The owners take care about every single detail of your visit offering you wine and meat/fish/vegetables/fruits that they bring every morning. This is the best place we have ever been and we will be back. Neven and Zeljko - once again thank you for making our holiday so wonderful.

The apartment was lovely and the view was breathtaking. The hosts were amazing.

Our family of 5 stayed in late April. Despite the dreary weather the hosts made the stay very enjoyable. Spoiling us with homemade wine, fresh fish and eggs, and even a fresh baked cake, they provided such hospitality the weather did not matter. The amazing views and private surroundings were unparalleled. We certainly hope to be make it back here again soon.

My happy place!

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. As other have mentioned Zeljko and his family were outstanding hosts - nothing was too much for them, thanks again. The location was blissful, probably the most relaxing holiday we've ever had. The kids loved the pool, we spent the hottest hours playing games under the arbor, and the house was well equipped for our needs. The walk from the car is not to be sniffed at, and parking is not for the faint of heart - definitely hire the smallest car you need!

Much, much more than we could have ever dreamed.

First of all, may we mention that Zjelko and his family could not have more hospitable. Neven met us at the place, although we were 2 hours late. He carried two of our suitcases down the many steps to the house. Zjelkos's mom was there with homemade treats, and made sure that all of our needs were met. The location is absolutely beautiful-pictures cannot do it justice. Everything about it is wonderful. The accommodations are the best- only a few yards from the pristine Adriatic.The boat is at your disposal(although we did not take advantage of it, due to the fact that one of us is a non-swimmer). Later in the week, Neven brought us 6 freshly caught fish to cook on the open fire. I asked him how to clean them. He responded by saying "They are already cleaned. We would not imagine bringing our guests un-cleaned fish" He also brought two bottles of homemade wine and a bottle of his own olive oil. We are not used of such treatment in the states. Anyway, we could never, ever, ever, put into words the experience that we had at this lovely place in Croatia. We have been to many, many places in the world. If there were one place to which we would return, it would be this wonderful house by the beach. Thanks to Zjelko and to his family. We will never forget you. Really special place!

Zeljko and his parents were absolutely fantastic hosts and the property is stunningly beautiful. I proposed to my girlfriend on the porch and Zeljko and his family helped prepare everything and make it perfect. I am truly grateful to have had their help. We had a great time hiking around, cruising the coast in the boat, and relaxing around the property. This is a really beautiful property and family.

Paradise on Earth with a lovely host family

Very well-appointed house. Don't let the small size fool you. It is laid out extremely well and has everything that you would need--even for the discerning traveler. Perfect, remote location. The boat is an incredible bonus, as is the herb and vegetable garden and the outdoor kitchen/eating area and the pool. The host Marusic family, and they really take hosting seriously, are one of the highlights of the trip. The father, Nevin, has a great knowledge of the area and is willing to share it with you as much as you want. The two sons and mother are also terrific people. They are willing to arrange everything that you may in a way that is both excellent in service and non-intrusive. We stayed for 6 days and feel that we have gained family friends in Croatia. We are already planning to book again next year. The only drawback, which is not in the power of the fantastic Marusic host family, is the number of cats crawling around from the the neighboring unit. The will raid all of the trash at night, crawl in windows, door, balconies, etc. at the slightest opportunity. A nuisance but failed to tarnish our wonderful vacation in the Marusic family home. Thank you Nevin, Maja, Zelje, and Tony!

Magical

This is probably the best property you will find in Dalmatia. It is simply stunning and immaculately maintained. The house has 3 units and this is by far the best one. There is the obvious (your own pool, boat, new appliances, air conditioning, always hot water when you need it, washing machine) the less obvious (wifi, TV with cable (inc HBO), espresso machine, snorkeling gear, beach chairs) and things you never would have guessed (your own vegetable plot rendering tomatoes, grapes, limes, herbs etc..., the owner dropping off fresh fish for the grill.) The pool is fantastic as well. You're right by a trail and it's gorgeous walk to Pisak where you can get groceries, go out to eat in the harbor, go for a spectacular run. The boat is easy to get in and out of the cove, run down the coast and explore beaches etc... The property is owned and maintained by a family who will make sure everything is to your expectation, without being intrusive and with excellent english. The beach is shared by some other vacation properties that are up the hill. It was never over run. Seclusion has it's price. You need to park a bit away and get down a long set of stairs. For Americans the ninjutsu of small cars and smaller steep streets of Croatia can be daunting. You may have to get over the guilt of people gazing lovingly at your property and they trudge up the hill to their apartments.

Heaven on Earth

We stayed 5 days in June with our 6 and 8 year olds and could not have asked for a more amazing time. The place is more beautiful than the photos. Zeljko and his parents greeted us warmly, walked our bags down the many stairs and showed us around. We loved the homemade wine they brought us and the fresh fish which we cooked on the grill. The place was exceptionally clean and perfectly stocked for the 4 of us. We loved swimming in the pool overlooking the sea. It was a perfect temperature and the owners came by to keep it clean. The grounds are filled with beautiful plants, flowers, vegetables and herbs. We ate the zucchini and the cucumbers every day and cooked with the fresh herbs. Above all else is the beautiful beach. Our kids spent hours playing on the rocks, swimming and snorkeling. And we took the boat out a few times which was so much fun on the calm waters. We are already talking about renting it again. It truly was like heaven for us.

Gorgeous and relaxing vacation home

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay at your property. The property was even better than described online being modern, clean and well equipped. The friendly Marusic family took great care of us from beginning to end dropping off regular treats (wine, olive oil, food, figs, etc.) and checking to see if all was well. We were heavy internet users and Zeljko topped up the data plan with no complaints. We enjoyed the proximity to the sea and spent many hours enjoying the view from the patio or around the pool. The location was wonderful with easy access to nearby towns/villages for groceries and recreation. Loved the ziplining in Omis and boat trip to Brac. Thanks again and hope to visit again.

Beautiful Location - very special service

We simple loved the secluded place which is located directly at the beach. The bay itself was never crowed, the water was very clean and water water temperature was perfect. Enyojing a morning swim was a special treat. The house itself was very clean and well eqipped. Zjelko and his family are very friendly people and offered special services [e.g. bringing wine, olive oil or fish, helping withe the luggage]. We already booked the property again and are looking foward to stay another 10 relyaxing days in 2016.

Loveliest place we've ever stayed

Our family of four, two adults and two children, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The setting could not have been nicer. The house is steps away from the beach. During the day the beach is full of people, but in the morning and at night, you have it completely to yourself. We enjoyed swimming, looking at fish, and using the boat to go on short trips nearby. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi are nice touches. The pebble beach makes for clear water and means you are not dragging sand into the house all the time. And the shower by the pool is so nice. The owners are kind and helpful. Anything we needed, they provided. When we asked where to rent snorkels, they brought us some the very next morning. They also brought treats- food and drinks that they had made themselves. When we arrived, they had already put basic supplies in the refrigerator. In addition, they had a lovely garden from which we got veggies and an arbor full of sun-ripened grapes. This rental was so enchanting- a true treat.

Perfect holiday

We had a wonderful time staying in this cottage by the sea. We were greeted by Neven (father of Zeljko) who kindly helped us carry our bags down the stairs to the house. Neven and his wife had kindly left us food and homemade wine and brandy and were the perfect hosts. The location is beautiful and you have the beach to yourself first thing in the morning and last thing at night. It's wonderful having the pool too to dip in and out of. We had use of Neven's boat, which was useful for outings to nearby Pisak. The house was really lovely and well equipped. I cannot praise this house and location enough - it would have been a perfect honeymoon location (if we hadn't had 3 year old with us!!). We were overwhelmed by the kindness of our hosts and would definitely return. Thank you for making our holiday so special.

A little piece of paradise, away from it all

When I first found this house on VRBO I thought it almost looked too good to be true. How wrong I was! The apartment is exactly the way it's described and the photos must have all been taken very recently as everything looks exactly like in the pictures, except maybe the beach, which seemed even nicer than in some of the photos. I don't think any picture can adequately portray what it's like sitting on the balcony, by the pool, or right on the beach with a glass of wine and watching the waves roll in. The house is literally only a few feet away from the water and there is nothing more relaxing than hearing the calming sound of the waves first thing in the morning or late at night. My wife and I (we're in our early fifties) stayed here for the second half of April and, except for the occasional daytime visitor checking out the beach, we had the entire cove to ourselves. If I understand it correctly, there are no private beaches in Croatia, or at least in this part of the country, but this came as close as possible to having a private bay all to ourselves. Zeljko and his parents are wonderful hosts. We've heard a lot about Croatian hospitality but never experienced anything like this. When we arrived (around midnight) he and his father met us in the village, showed us where to park our car, and carried our luggage down the steep hill for us. In the house they had some delicious local food, homemade wine, and a bottle of local walnut brandy waiting for us, the perfect late night snack for hungry travelers. Throughout our stay they kept bringing us more red wine, which Zeljko's father made himself, and other local delicacies. He taught us how to use the small motor boat but we opted to go grocery shopping by foot with a small backpack instead. Due to the remote location of the house, Wi-Fi runs over a cellular Internet connection, which was reliable and fast enough for video conferencing, even in the pool area, at least until we reached the data cap (25GB?), at which point Zeljko promptly purchased additional bandwidth at no charge for us. He did whatever he could to make our stay perfect. If it weren't for the amazing sightseeing opportunities in the area we would've never left the house. Split, e.g., is close by and driving to Dubrovnik takes only a little more than three hours. There are many more places that are worth checking out but after every trip we took we were eager to get back to the house to enjoy the beautiful scenery and to simply unwind.

Perfect stay

There were three of us ( a couple and a single) and the house accommodated us perfectly. The position right on the water couldn't be better. Zeljko and his parents ensured we had everything we needed. The house is well equipped and spotless and then there are the endless views. This is the perfect place to chill, swim and kick back over a Pivo or Vino. A very special place.

Even hottest summer nights here are blessed with cool breeze from the sea, and even during the high tourist season you will enjoy absolute peace and tranquility, especially during the nights and early mornings, when you will feel like you are alone in this world. When in our house, it is best to forget about car and stress which usually comes with the summer season. We will deliver groceries for you, and you will go to the restaurant or shop to one of nearby little villages. It truly is a dream holiday, so far from noise and crowd, yet you have everything you need in our fully equipped apartment. And if you want to take a break for all this peace and tranquility and enjoy nightlife and noisy summer nights, some of the most popular tourist resorts in Croatia are very close, like Brela, Baška Voda, Makarska and Omiš.
