Great location

We spent a few days here and were very happy with the location and amenities. the house is a bit old and dated, but very beachy. the outside was perfect for the dog and the location was great.

Conveniently located

This condo was conveniently located to where we needed to be during our stay. We were able to walk to the pier , the public beach access and and places to eat with ease.

Great location. Will definitely stay here again. I stayed here years ago and it now has new furniture which was nice. Loved that they allowed my fur babies.

Best hidden secret

This is our second year staying at this property during the week of July 4th. The location is perfect and our favorite restaurants are within walking distance which you can't beat!!

The location of the property can't be beat. It's right in town so we could easily walk to restaurants, stores and the beach. We had everything we needed and it was clean and comfy. It could use a few updates like there were a couple water stains on the ceiling and a dishwasher would be great. But overall, great place.

Perfect spot on SSI!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The location was PERFECT and the house was adorable. We ate out the first two nights (walked to the restaurants) and cooked in the last evening. The house is well equipped and the fenced yard was perfect for our dog, Edwina. The check in process was easy and we will certainly stay here again. Thanks Janna for sharing your lovely little home.

Love this property

We stayed in A unit last year and this year tried out the B unit. Great properties and even better location. Right in the heart of everything on SSI. Janna is a wonderful host, who is very quick to answer any questions or needs. We will stay here for years to come!

As usual Janna, we had such a nice time.

The property is in a perfect location. We can pull up right to the property and not need the car until we leave. The beds are very comfortable and the area is quiet. This is either our fourth or fifth stay with you and we hope to stay again next year if not sooner. Thank you.

St Simons Getaway

We stayed at this rental for 3 nights. It was very convenient to many attractions such as dining and beaches. The site rental displayed pictures of both sides without identifying which one it applied to. We stayed in B which was not as modernized as the A side particularly in the bathroom. It definitely needs some TLC.

Wonderful location

We loved the layout of the unit and how close it was to the pier. The outside needs some love. There’s a huge hole in the fence and we didn’t feel comfortable letting our dog outside without one of us being with him. The deck also has a few rotten boards we were afraid he would get his leg caught in. Other than that the place was awesome.

Prime location to the Pier/Mallery St!

We loved staying at this duplex! I don’t know if we could have stayed with our dog any closer to the restaurants on Mallery St than this spot. We loved that we could quickly walk to breakfast or home from a dinner out at night after a few drinks. Our duplex neighbors were friendly and also had dogs but we couldn’t hear them from inside the place. I would caution on noise from the businesses behind the place if you’re sensitive to noise (landscaping / pressure washing at 8am on a Saturday, but nothing late night otherwise). I will say that there are definitely places with higher end finishes but they come with a price tag. We will gladly stay here again.

St Simons Respite

This is a great property! Not updated but totally comfortable and relaxing. The proximity to the Pier Village and all it offers, while still being quiet and out of the way, was amazing. Our schnauzer loved the fenced yard and we felt good that he was secure when out alone. Only one minor issue, the outdated televisions, will not keep us from returning.

A Little Slice of Heaven

They really thought of everything including a rack in the bathroom to hold your many toiletry bags. We felt right at home, including our dog, who particularly enjoyed the large fenced in area. The location is perfect for just about anything - pier, beach, restaurants, live music, dog park, human park, bike and cart rental. Very were very pleased with the cleanliness of the place and how quiet it seemed dispute being in all the action. We will be back - thank you for having us!

Just what I needed!

This property was fantastic!! The unit was clean and very quiet. It's a duplex, and I was surprised I didn't hear my neighbors. Throughout the booking process, Janna was very timely in her communications, and working with the property manager once on SSI, Hodnett Cooper, was a breeze! The location...well it just doesn't get any better! Once we unpacked the car, we walked everywhere! I will absolutely book again!

Summer 2022

The property is in a great location, walking distance to just about everything but also secluded in it’s own space which is nice. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the property and the patio area. The only two negatives I’d mention that wouldn’t prevent us from staying there again but others may want to know. The air didn’t work too well, would only cool the unit off to about 75 but with fans (they have one in every room) we managed. Also, the TVs are pretty old and on the smaller side, we didn’t watch too much TV because we were on vacation but thought some would want to know. Again, overall a great place, I would- probably book it again.

Cat friendly in center of the action

My wife and I have stayed here previously. It is always neat, clean and well appointed. Nice private courtyard area with deck and grill. Owner is friendly and keeps good communication. Super comfortable mattress. Cat friendly. Could not be more convenient to all village shops and restaurants. You can walk to everything in five minutes. We will be back. Thank you!

As native Atlantans, we have always loved the Georgia coast and both grew up vacationing on St. Simons Island. We have wonderful memories of spending GA/FLA game weekends here, taking trips with our extended family and friends, and bringing both our children down for their first beach experiences. In spring of 2013 were visiting for spring break and stayed in Two if by Sea for the first time. We were immediately drawn to this unique home and its fantastic location in a neighborhood we've always loved. Noticing the property was for sale, we contacted the owner and the rest is history!
