Fun Factory - 4-bedroom house with AC minutes away from surf and sound in Waves
Get ready to relax in this newly built 4-bedroom house just a walk away from the beach in Waves. This fantastic property features 3 king beds, 1 twin bed, and 1 bunk bed, perfect for a serene getaway. With 3 bathrooms equipped with extra amenities, like hair dryers, soap and shampoo/conditioner, guests will feel right at home. There's a primary bedroom with ensuite bath, and a large walk-in closet. There are 2 rooms with king beds connected by a Jack-n-Jill bath, and a bunkbed room with a twin bed and 1 bunk bed. All bedrooms feature Smart TVs and individual climate control systems for maximum comfort.
Just down the hall is the great room, an open concept hub of activity. The kitchen is equipped with stainless appliances. A kitchen island with 4 stools and dining table that can seat eight provide the ideal setting for meals and conversation. The living room has an L-shaped sofa, swivel chair, and a 55-inch Smart TV that allows you to stream your favorite services. Step outside after your morning coffee or evening meal to enjoy a spacious outdoor upper deck with plenty of seating and a fire pit.
A large, paved garage area provides ample space to park your vehicles, charge them at the EV charging station, store your gear, and hang out in the outdoor furnished living area. There's a fish cleaning station with water and lights, a gas grill to cook your catch, and an outdoor enclosed shower to clean up from it all. After a fun day on the beach or sound, relax in the outdoor 6-person hot tub, sit by the cozy outdoor fire pit on the upper deck, or enjoy a game of corn hole with your family.

Welcome to our beach house! My family and I live nearby in a small beach community in Virginia Beach, VA. Even though we have sun and surf where we live in VB, there is something special about day-tripping down to the Outer Banks for waves, wind, and sun!
Our family has been visiting the Outer Banks for many years. This stretch of beach has some of the best waves and wind on the East Coast for any surfer, kiteboarder, or windsurfer. My husband is an avid surfer and kiteboarder and takes many trips to Rodanthe and beyond to surf with friends. The 2-hour drive from VB is easy; however, It has always been a dream of ours to own a second home in Rodanthe, so the day trips could extend to weekend ones.
We broke ground on the Fun Factory house in late August 2023. My family and I wanted a simple beach house with a clean design. Having rented many houses in the OBX, we based our decisions for the Fun Factory house on what we think a house should have when on vacation. The surfboard in the living room was my father-in-law's. It is quite heavy and is for decoration only. Please admire it from afar and do not take it off the wall (Thank you!).

Por qué escogió este alojamiento
We wanted a house near the ocean but not ocean front. Fun Factory is tucked away from the street and surrounded by trees. It is like a little beach tree house. The house is walking distance to many shops and places to eat as well as about a 5-6 minute walk to the beach and sound. During the off season, we spend many weekends at the house enjoying all that the Outer Banks has to offer. Enjoy!

Our house is simple and elegant. The great room with large picture windows and semi-vaulted ceilings is the perfect place for everyone to be together. We designed the house so that you want to come out of your room and spend time together.
