Serenity Lane Cottage se encuentra en el apartado Valle de los Cedros, en el extremo norte del Valle del Canguro. Desde el momento en que llegas al valle, las ondulantes colinas verdes y el épico acantilado de arenisca dominan la vista. Serenity Lane está rodeada de tierras de cultivo donde pastan vacas y wombats. Nuestra casa de campo de nueva construcción tiene un ambiente vintage moderno, con características patrimoniales y un diseño moderno y espacioso, con techos de catedral y ventanas panorámicas para dibujar las espléndidas vistas de la sala de estar.

Equipada con una cocina moderna, la granja tiene mucho espacio para entretenerse, que fluye hacia el área al aire libre donde puede sentarse y ver la niebla entrar. La granja tiene 3 habitaciones dobles con 2 camas queen y 2 camas individuales / sofá cama extensible. El baño inspirado en las provincias francesas ofrece un baño con patas para un baño en la tarde después de un día explorando el área local.

Exceeded expectationsThis is one of those places that is even better than the photos. Beautifully designed and styled, incredibly peaceful and set in the most spectacular location with views you could stare at for hours. We stayed for three nights with our two teenagers and felt at home the minute we walked in. Everything has been thought through, down to the smallest details, The fireplace was a highlight and kept the whole house cosy, although there's central heating if you need it. It is 10-15 minutes from Kangaroo Valley, tucked away down a quiet country road, it has that rare feeling of being completely removed from the world.

Relaxing retreat

Our family had a relaxing stay. Beautiful walking trails, wombat spotting and star gazing. Close to little towns for cafe breakfast or shopping to stock up and just stay in the beautiful accommodation. Would definitely stay again.

This home was absolutely beautiful and a wonder place for a getaway. The surroundings and views are beautiful and it was a very peaceful and tidy home, it had everything we needed. The hosts were communicate and very helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Great small getaway with friends

Wonderful place to stay. Saw many local wildlife including wombats (after dusk) and kangaroos. House very well furnished and we enjoyed using the fireplace. No issues whatsoever and internet plenty fast.

Beautiful house and stunning location

The location is fantastic. You feel like you are very remote, yet 15 mins from Kangaroo Valley. The house was perfect for our group of 3 couples, with everything we needed. Karen and Ben were the perfect hosts.

Serene Weekend

Had a lovely stay on this property, and was very happy with the booking, check-in processes. Hosts were super fast responding to any questions. Slight room for improvement with kitchen appliances and the presence of a BBQ (which was in the pics but not on site).

So sorry you missed out on having a BBQ - the old BBQ has been retired this winter. A smaller portable one is available on request - next time just give us a call and we’ll let you know where it is. Winter is not usually high demand for BBQ equipment so it was packed away. Re the kitchen appliances - not sure what we were missing for you. The near new SMEG cooker/oven has done some spectacular Christmas dinners and birthday celebrations for our family and friends, the Fisher and Paykel dishwasher is a luxury for a country house on tank water and the fully stocked kitchen (including Royal Doulton Crockery) and all the herbs and spices you need, is ample for a weekend getaway.

Outstanding wildlife viewing! Wonderful home to stay in.

Fantastic home in an amazing valley of beauty and serenity. Every evening at dusk, whether in the backyard or the fields just in front of the entrance to the driveway, you’ll see lots of kangaroos roaming about as well as those adorable wombats. Coming from the USA it was a special treat to experience this wildlife. Whether sitting on the patio with coffee in the morning or sipping wine in the evening, the scenery and tranquillity was exceptional. Karen was super responsive with any questions we had. Would absolutely stay here again.

Pros: Location as expected, cute property, host provided great instruction, bathrooms and kitchen recently done and look great Cons: very hard to get phone reception, but my biggest disappointment was the poor cleaning - downstairs bathroom esp shower not cleaned, found crumbs on couches, and overall super dusty

Speechless! Sorry our home did not meet your meticulous standards. I personally cleaned all surfaces to COVID cleaning standards and thoroughly vacuumed the property before your arrival. It was left extremely neat and well presented. The property has excellent Telstra 4G reception inside and good Optus reception outside. Perhaps consider staying in an urban area next holiday, rather than the countryside. You’ll be guaranteed to have fabulous reception from the mobile tower next door. Ben & Karen

An amazing location and wonderful house. A great weekend escape to the country.

Our family of 5 spent two days at Serenity Lane and loved it. The house is set up to easily accommodate 5/6 people and there was plenty of space. The kitchen made cooking meals easy, and the open plan layout downstairs was great. There were board games, books and DVD's to keep us entertained as the rain came down and the kids loved pointing out the local wildlife. Wallabies, Wombats, Echidnas, Cows and the odd crackle of cockatoos kept things interesting. Kangaroo Valley town is only a 10-15 minute drive away and Fitzroy Falls and Manning lookouts (less than 30 mins away) were the highlight of the trip. An afternoon cup of tea (or bubbles) looking out over the rolling grassy hills towards the escarpment brings new meaning to the word Serenity. Karen was a great and communicative host, and everything was as described. We truly enjoyed our time at Serenity Lane, and looking forward to coming back. The Cassis Family.

Weekend away

Lovely house and relaxing location to stay. Only thing was the road closure and difficulty of getting in and out when we had wedding commitments in town but this had nothing to do with the house or hosts.
