With a location less than a half-mile from the beach, this beautiful three-bedroom house is going to make your next summer vacation one for the books! Spread out in the spacious living room and pluck a good read from the private library to enjoy on the comfy sofa. You'll love watching your favorite movies and shows on the flatscreen TV. The full kitchen is equipped with small and major appliances and you'll have plenty of counter space to help you get creative. There are eight seats available at the handsome dining table and the kids can enjoy their afternoon snacks from the two breakfast bar stools. After dinner, let the dishwasher take care of all the cleanup while you adjourn to the furnished screened-in porch with a nice glass of wine and some good company. This home provides three beach chairs for your days of sun and surf, and you can spritz away the sand with the outdoor shower. The private washer and dryer will knock out everyone's laundry during your stay and the central AC and ceiling fan will keep everything cool on those hot summer afternoons. Don't forget to take advantage of the free WiFi to post your best selfies to your social media. There is a dock available for kayaks and shallow draft boats, so you'll never run out of fun things to do while you're here!

Great small house

Great little house perfect for my family of 4. My son stayed busy catching small fish in the canal. Only negative is the size of the bathroom but still did the job. Huge plus is it’s walking distance to froggy dog, and cups and cones and only a ten minute walk to the beach.

Great location

The location is great, it's close to the food lion if you need something as well as a restaurant and ice cream within walking distance. My kids enjoyed crabbing off the dock. The deck and sun room gets a nice breeze. To get to the beach, you will have to cross the main road.

Already Booked Another Stay!

We chose Reel Paradise due to its proximity to the Sound and its boat ramp because we have larger kayaks and were spending a week fishing in the OBX. We were absolutely delighted with how cozy, clean and inviting the house was. Kitchen had all the dishes, pans and utensils you'll need. Sitting on the screened-in porch for morning coffee gave us the sounds of the canal (fish splashing, birds having lively conversations) without pesky bugs. The deck overlooking the canal is also a great place to relax. So, so peaceful. The house next door is either falling apart or slowly being put back together - hard to tell - but it didn't detract from our stay (others have mentioned it in reviews, but it didn't bother us). We loved the house and location so much that we've booked another stay at this property for later this year.

Overall the house is nice. We had a tough time getting into the house. After 30 minutes of texting and calls with staff we got a code to let us in. The house next door is in poor condition with a lot of junk and made us weary of our surroundings. The receptacles and light fixtures in main bedroom did not work which included the television. Someone left behind a swim suit top on the back door of the master bedroom as well.

Sweet retreat

Our family enjoyed every minute here! Nice and clean! Great place to walk for Breakfast in the morning and treats in the evening. We loved the back deck and sun porch for reading and relaxing. The beach is a short drive and was beautiful. We also loved the outdoor shower. We highly recommend Reel Paradise to our friends and family!

It is a perfect place to get away and relax. Close to beach and fishing pier. Home had all the amenities needed. Will definitely book again.
