Barefeet Retreat: Oceanfront home with a Private Beach Access and Spacious Covered Porches

This light and bright oceanfront home features fun seaside cottage décor welcomes you in from the beach, which can be accessed from your private walkway.

Enjoy the amazing ocean view from the broad, covered front porch and the spacious kitchen/living area, which offers plenty of seating for dining or watching movies. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your seaside meals.

The upstairs loft boasts a spectacular view and more comfy seating. Updates are constant here, and 2024 brought some renovations and new paint in the bedrooms. Amenities include central air-conditioning and heat, fiber-optic WiFi, smart TVs with Roku, a wet bar, a washer/dryer, an enclosed outdoor shower with hot water, a lockable storage room under the house, parking under the house, a propane grill, and plenty of parking.

Wonderful Week With Family

We enjoyed a nice week with our immediate family in Barefeet Retreat. The house was just as described and met all our needs. It’s a great location, close to the bridge and restaurants, but far enough to be quiet on the street and beach.

The house was oceanfront with very short walk to the beach. It was spacious and a perfect house for our family to enjoy all that comes with staying at Holden Beach! It wasn't crowded, lots of shells and great place to relax and fish. We would definitely recommend this home!

This was a great home and nice and close to the beach. Everything we needed was included at the house, kitchen was fully furnished and shed had all beach chairs. Clean and comfy!

Loved the covered porch and rocking chairs, well appointed kitchen and the mattresses were very comfortable. Loved the upper level seating area for reading. It was clean on arrival and much appreciated for that. Hope others have a great week at Holden Beach.

Fantastic 4th

Awesome place for family of four. Holden is a gem and the east end is quiet yet a bike ride to a couple restaurants and ice cream. House was super clean and perfect layout. All the tools required for cooking and grilling we supplied. Beds were comfy. Loved this place definitely will stay again if we can book it!

Summer fun

The house was great. It was clean and had all the supplies we needed, the location right on the water was great. We spent the days on the beach and evening on the porch listening to the waves. There are lots of restaurants nearby and if you want a day away from the beach Wilmington is close enough for an afternoon trip. Would definitely stay here again.

BareFeet Retreat Hit The Mark.

Bare Feet Retreat is a wonderful rental house. Plenty of room, well laid out and was nice and clean when we arrived. This is the 3rd time we have stayed there, and we find the care of the house very consistent, which is important for a rental. We booked again for the same week next year.

Can’t say enough good things about this house!! Very clean upon arrival which was great! Kitchen was fully stocked which was great! Layout of the rooms was great! Back porch and rocking chairs our favorite part! Loved it so much we already booked it for next year too! Our 5yr old grandson said thanks for letting us stay in your beach house!!
