Oceanfront duplex with beach access, 2 primary suites, hot tub, & kitchen

New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

Silver Linings West is a beautifully situated, completely renovated, oceanfront duplex with a spectacular oceanfront view. There's more than enough room for the entire family, with nearby local restaurants, ice cream parlors, and gift shops.

This home, which occupies one side of a duplex, offers an open living, kitchen, and dining area with nautical ceiling fans, a wall of picture windows, luxury vinyl plank floors, an expandable dining table, beautiful frost-white quartz countertops, quality brushed-brass faucets, and new stainless steel appliances that include a glass-top stove and dishwasher. Helpful extras include a milk frother and kitchen accessories complete with a spice rack. The pantry is equipped with new Cuisinart small appliances, a toaster, a coffee maker, and a Keurig machine.

Enjoy new Hot Tub, new Roku/cable smart TVs (one in every bedroom), a DVD player, a VCR, fast reliable internet, a new washer/dryer, a spacious covered porch with rocking chairs, a large observation deck, plenty of convenient covered parking, an outdoor sink and cleaning station, and a set of outdoor stairs leading to the deck entrance and a private boardwalk to the beach.

There are two primary bedrooms, the first of which is on the main level and features its own den and luxury bathroom. The second is upstairs, offering its own luxury bathroom and private oceanfront balcony for sunbathing by day and stargazing by night. The bathrooms have been renovated with light marbling custom tile, natural rock showers, frameless shower doors, quartz countertops, and top-of-the-line, brushed-brass Delta hardware.

Great location. The rental rate was at a good price point, but it did lack some basic amenities like clean dishes and working appliances when we arrived. The bathrooms were adequate.

Wonderful ocean front home for large family reunion

We loved having 2 kitchens and 2 sets of washer/dryer units. Both kitchens were pretty well stocked. Homes were supplied with laundry pods, dish soap and dishwasher pods. We will definitely book for our next visit to Holden!

Great for our group

We rented both sides and had 22 in our party (15 adults, 3 teens, and 4 toddlers). There was plenty of space for all. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, dishes and silverware. We enjoyed our stay and loved being oceanfront.

Best place we have ever stayed!!

Our family is unique. 5 kids ranging from 35-45. 12 grandkids ranging from 1-22. Two families have 4 kids each. This place was perfect beyond belief! Two separate houses connected together. We could walk from one to the other with no problem. But everyone has their own space, own kitchen, own washer and dryer and both units had hot tubs. We normally go to Ocracoke 3 times a year but decided to try Holden Beach 6 hours closer. Not only was the house beyond belief the coffee shop, Aunt Irene’s Cinnamon Buns, the pizza place and Castaways were all fantastic. We also had the beach to ourselves. We plan on booking again for next year TODAY!! Thanks to the owners for such a great trip!

Excellent for families with children

Having both East & West provided two living rooms and two kitchens and plenty of bedrooms. When not at the beach (which is terrific) kids could hang out watching television on on side while non-kids could be on the other side with some conversation time or watching something else on tv. Two kitchens means two refrigerators so had plenty of room for food and beverage storage. Two kitchens also meant two stoves so able to prepare lots of food easily. The counters were next to the stoves so it was easy to prepare and serve food for the masses. The beach access is great and the beach had few people because access is very limited to people who are not staying at a beach house but access from the beach house was very easy and fast. Place was clean and well maintained. Linens and towels were high quality and no shortage of them. Washers and dryers on both sides so easy to do lots of laundry for lots of people. The decks have very comfortable rocking chairs that make relaxing easy while looking over the beach and water.

Descent House, Poor Care

Family vacation with In-laws and 8 small children and babies. House accommodated us well. Would have been nice to have larger kitchens and a 1/2 bath on bottom floor. But there are issues that need to be addressed!!! I did contact Vacasa and they were accommodating to find solutions while we were there. However, most solutions were not able to be met while occupying the house especially with babies. Here are some of the issues: No storage in kitchen for our food we needed for the week because all cabinets were packed full of needless junk. Example, 6 gallons of interior paint stored under sink, 4 full shelves in pantry crammed with Nick Nack decorations, another pantry shelf stuffed with boxes of various items. Kitchen cabinets stuffed with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc… with no organization. They were scattered all of the place. Dishes, pots and pans were greasy and some dirty. Literally had to wash everything we wanted to use. Kitchen counter and stove was filthy. We cleaned the entire kitchen before setting up. Bed in small bedroom upstairs was broken and being held up with scrap wood from a project they had been doing recently. Which meant they knew the bed was broken. Door shelve in on the the refrigerators were missing. Killed at least 10 large cockroaches throughout the week. There were cockroach droppings inside a coffee pot inside one the the stuffed cabinets.Again, Vacasa seemed to try and make things right and listened to our concerns.
