Robert's property in Basalt was just perfect for our family. The new renovations with attention to luxury details and calming colors made our stay very nice. Robert was a perfect host, very responsive to questions I had and took very good care of any concerns we had. The garage is a super nice feature but was a little tight for our large rental SUV, so it was nice that this condo has an additional space in the parking lot available for use as well. The condo is very clean, the shower pressure in bathrooms was fantastic, there were plenty of towels and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. There were even throw blankets on the couch for TV time! The champagne, hot chocolate and cookies Robert left for us on our arrival were a nice surprise. It was a quick drive to the Snowmass ski resort for our ski activities. Sleeping at a lower elevation in Basalt made for a very comfortable night's sleep since we were coming from a much lower elevation. The towns of Basalt and Willits have many excellent restaurants for going out to dinner. We went to Free Range, Heathers and Mezzaluna on this visit. There is a Starbucks, City Market and a Whole Foods grocery store within an 8 min drive. We felt very safe and we really enjoyed our stay and we will be back!
