Plácido Chalet tiene tres pisos de confort y espacio para su disfrute Lake Placid. Placid Chalet es único con su estilo de chalet con dos balcones. Estos balcones son excelentes escondites para tomar una taza de café por la mañana o un rincón de lectura.

Placid Chalet también tiene una gran terraza adjunta conectada a la sala de estar principal con una magnífica vista al bosque y muebles acogedores. Se expande el espacio de vida en gran medida.

También tiene un nivel del suelo. La terraza cubierta ofrece entretenimiento al aire libre adicional y espacio para asar, especialmente en días lluviosos. Tres niveles de espacio brindan a todos la habitación que necesitan y disfrutan.

Estamos a menos de un cuarto de milla del restaurante más cercano y .4 millas al cine. Caminar a la ciudad es muy cerca, rápido y agradable. El Jack Rabbit Trail está detrás de la casa para explorar.

Esta casa tiene una privacidad sin igual en un terreno de una hectárea, algo que rara vez se encuentra en otras propiedades de la aldea. Hay mucho estacionamiento en un camino de herradura con espacios de estacionamiento adicionales. Si tiene un bote o un remolque, esto le brinda la facilidad para estacionar.

Toda la casa tiene un toque de ADK por dentro y por fuera con arte y mobiliario únicos de Adirondack. Mejor aún, es un paseo cercano (.4 m) a todo lo que ofrece Main Street Lake Placid. Hay una tabla de stand up paddle para su uso. Tendrá que ser transportado en SUV / camión al agua. Dos lanchas de Lake Placid gratuitas están muy cerca, con un amplio estacionamiento. Mirror Lake también tiene un lanzamiento fácil en la playa pública. Para usar, todos deben usar un dispositivo de flotación personal (chaleco salvavidas) en todo momento. Paddle y chalecos salvavidas se proporcionan.

This house is lovely and well equipped. We appreciated the clealiness and comfort of the home. The owners were accessible and very helpful with answering questions both before and during the vacation. Best of all was the quiet woodsy settiing, still walking distance to town but feeling quite remote as you sit on the porch and look into the woods or toast marshmallows in the fire pit. 10 out of 10!

Adorable home, so clean, close to Main St!!

We had 3 adult couples staying here. The home is super cute with great attention to detail! Incredibly clean, very spacious…we come to LP often and will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips. The host was also incredibly kind and accommodating! A nice walk to Main St puts you right in the action but with plenty of peaceful privacy at the house!

Perfect Chrismas week vacation

This property has everything, including 5 pairs of snowshoes, which were put to good use on the Jack Rabbit Trail! The house was nicely decorated for Christmas, immaculate, well organized, cozy, convenient, and had a well stocked kitchen. The beds were also very comfortable. It was a perfect size for our group of ten. Looking forward to a return trip here for a Lake Placid summer experience in the future!

Well equipped and ckean

Everything was as advertised. Like most of LP, the walk to Main St is very hilly. 3 bathrooms worked out great, open floor plan has tons of room on main and lower levels.

Lake placid stay 2022

The place was clean, comfortable and great for our needs. Unfortunately the high humidity was unforeseen for the area as we suffered a few nights of restless sleep in high room temperatures. We left the place as we found it and followed the closing instructions to a T. Home owner presented us with a nice welcoming basket of goods with a handwritten card wishing us a nice stay.

Best Location

Second time staying here. Everything was perfect just like the last time. We love the location being close to Main Street but still having a private yard. The house is very clean, comfortable, and inviting. Love it here!

Large House great outdoor Spaces

The house was great. Large open kitchen, living room and dinning room area. Makes it easy to talk and mingle with people. The lower level is a great place to hang out outside and play games. Our stay was excellent. Definitely would come back. The location to town was nice a close. Quick trips every where.

Ironman week stay

The property was clean, spacious and provided enough room for larger groups while allowing for privacy when needed. The house was welcoming and we were able to find whatever we needed especially with regard to the kitchen. The location was perfect to walk to Main Street, and I would definitely stay again if I had the occasion to be in Lake Placid!

Lake Placid Vacation

We had a wonderful time at the Placid Chalet! The house was beautiful and immaculate. We spent a lot of time on on the deck and it was delightful. The location was great. I would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a place to stay in Lake Placid.

Amazing Getaway

Some friends from college and I stayed here for a weekend getaway and to celebrate my birthday. I have to say the weekend was amazing. The house was even bigger than what I expected from the pictures. There was plenty of common hang out spaces, while also giving everyone their own personal space as well. The location was also great. Easy to find and very close to the hustle and bustle of main street, but felt secluded enough that we had our own private space and weren't on top of neighbors. The house came with everything we needed for the weekend. The only downside was that our schedules didn't allow us to stay longer. Will definitely be back to Placid and hope to stay here again upon my return.

Annual ski trip

This was an amazing house! Everything about it was easy from check in to cleanliness to distance to the mountain. It is definitely a nice walk into town in the Spring summer and fall. The house was decorated beautifully and gave us that Adirondack feel. Loved the lights outside and all the décor inside. Got a great welcome basket and very helpful binder with hints as well as a great review of all the restaurants in the area. Thank you for such a great stay. We definitely want to come back. We have never been there any time beside the Winter but would love to come when the weather is warmer to enjoy the lakes and beautiful setting. 5 stars!!!

Enjoyable stay

We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent at Placid Chalet. The house was spacious and welcoming from the time you walked through the door. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and the welcome gift basket was so appreciated.. Both kids and adults enjoyed the trail behind the house. Would definitely rent this home again!

Very nice property

The property was very nice, relatively close to town and other attractions. It was very spacious and could have handled another family in addition to ours. The owner was very good at communicating and the check in/out was seemless. Would definitely stay here again.

Great holiday weekend stay!

We are frequent visitors to Lake Placid and our time at the Chalet could not have been any better! The outside was perfect with multiple levels to hang out, including a fire pit. The decks provide great views, the colors are great this time of year. The inside worked very well for playing games with plenty of space for us 4 adults, 5 kids). The house was also well stocked with anything we needed for cooking. Cathy is great to communicate with, she made everything so easy. Highly recommend!

Amazing place for a family getaway!

From the moment we pulled in the driveway, we knew we were in for treat! The Chalet was the perfect spot for our family weekend. We immediately felt at home and comfortable and were blown away at how perfect and detail oriented the interior and exterior was designed and situated. All of the amenities were perfect from the bedrooms to the bathrooms to the incredible deck and patio. We had 9 in our party and had plenty of room and space. The owner was amazing and she welcomed us with a personalized note and goodies to enjoy. We can't wait to get back to the Chalet!!

Get treated like royalty at the Placid Chalet

They say love is in the details and that is exactly what awaits you at the Placid Chalet. From nice sheets & exceptionally clean showers and bathrooms to a well appointed kitchen & patios and decks with everything you need to relax outdoors- no detail was overlooked. The Placid Chalet has fun decor from the Adirondack area and Olympic highlights. We had 8 in our party and had plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their stay. We can’t wait to come back!!

It was perfect

The home was perfect for us as our "basecamp" in the majestic Adirondack mountains. My group hiked up Mt. Marcy is severe weather conditions and the chalet was a great place to come back to after a strenuous 12-hour trek in the snow. The property was clean, cozy, and decorated with good taste. The owner was pleasant to deal with and really made us feel at home during our stay.

I have always loved Lake Placid. It was always the place I would take vacations and short weekend trips with the family since 1980’s. Here I fell in love with Lake Placid’s European-like charm and small town friendliness. Not to mention, endless year round activities here in Lake Placid make this a four season playground!

I recently purchased this home and can not live permanently there yet, so until I do I would like to share my home and love of Lake Placid with others!

This home has much character and Adirondack charm from the beamed ceilings and gorgeous bedroom balconies. It has great open space inside for friendly gathering. But also, additional space to have privacy. The yard provides much space to play and explore. Best yet, it is a quick walk to the busy Main Street. If you are looking for a Lake Placid- Adirondack experience- you should check out Placid Chalet!

It is located on an acre of land which gives the home great privacy in the village. The neighbors are well secluded from us unlike most village homes.
