The Space:

Sleeping arrangements

The loft‑style dome sleeps up to four guests. A king‑size bed rests on the main level, and a queen‑size loft bed sits above, positioned for night‑sky views through expansive windows. A set of stairs leads to the loft, making the space best suited for guests comfortable with a multi‑level interior.



Interior comforts

Heating keeps the dome cozy during colder months, and air conditioning is available when temperatures rise. WiFi supports streaming and remote work, while a TV and sound system provide low‑key entertainment for evenings indoors. The full indoor bathroom includes a shower and standard bathroom essentials, allowing you to unwind without stepping back into the cold.

Orion sits on 35 wooded acres at one of the highest points of a private retreat in Wardensville, West Virginia. Free parking is available on the premises. The retreat also includes another dome about 100 feet away and a yurt over 400 feet distant; while you may see other guests, your dome retains its own deck and fire pit for a sense of separation.



Local highlights

A short drive brings you to hiking trails, fishing spots, and Lost River State Park. Nearby towns offer cafés, restaurants, and local shops for relaxed afternoon outings before returning to the dome’s warmth.



Winter travel considerations

Snow or icy conditions may require four‑wheel drive or tire chains, and travel insurance is recommended during winter months. Refunds are not provided for road conditions outside the host’s control.
