The house itself was wonderful! Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked pretty well, updates were beautiful … Layout of the house was unique, but charming. It should be noted that no bedrooms had a bathroom in them.I believe that claiming this as “waterfront property” is slightly misleading… While there is a small kayak launch as pictured, that is the only water frontage on the lot. It is also not visible from the house. During our stay, there were multiple boats from the boat storage business that shares property with the house. Our view was definitely not the lake, it was boats sitting on trailers, cargo trailers, and RVs sitting in a yard.Most Importantly, while it was stated that the boat rental business next-door would not impact our stay, we, in fact, were greatly impacted when one of their dogs attacked our black lab on the last night of our stay. Our dog was on a leash. Their dog was not. This resulted in a puncture wound, which ended up getting infected. It cost us over 300 to treat our dog. Due to this, I would not return.
