South of Fifth, affectionately known as SoFi, is one of the most prestigious and charming neighborhoods in Miami Beach. Located at the southern tip of South Beach, this area is celebrated for its quiet residential streets, historic Art Deco architecture, and close proximity to the ocean and beautiful parks.
Unlike the busier Miami Beach areas farther north, SoFi feels relaxed and refined. Palm-lined streets, low-rise historic buildings, and welcoming cafés give the neighborhood a laid-back yet upscale atmosphere. Guests often describe it as the perfect place to stay—close enough to walk everywhere, yet peaceful enough to truly unwind after a day of exploring.
Within walking distance, you’ll find Ocean Drive and the iconic white-sand beaches of South Beach, ideal for swimming, sunbathing, or scenic shoreline strolls. A parking permit is required for Residential Zone 1. Upon Arrival- Please send a photo of your license plate to receive your virtual permit.
⚠️ Do not leave your car unattended, until your permit is confirmed. This pass does not cover metered parking, only Residential Zone 1.
***Vehicles without a valid permit are often towed in South Beach (fees ~$500), and guests are responsible for any charges.
