This cozy, secluded, 4 bedroom bungalow comfortably accommodates a variety of groups. Take a 4-minute drive to the beach for the day, then return to relax by the pool on the spacious deck overlooking the backyard pond. Evenings are ideal for fishing or gathering around the firepit. The converted shed offers extra sleeping space and doubles as a game room. Whether you`re seeking quality family time, a peaceful retreat, or a chance to reconnect with nature, Barefoot Bungalow is your ideal getaway.
● WINTER TEXAN RATE: Escape to the Texas Gulf Coast this winter! Ask about our reduced monthly rates October 1 - March 1.
● Location: Centrally located on Galveston Island, Texas
● Beach Access: Less than a 4 minute drive from multiple west-end beaches.
● Private Pool: This home features an above-ground pool with a spacious deck for lounging.
● Rent BeachBox: Beach gear rentals are available! Ask us for details and rates.
● WIFI/Cable: We provide free high-speed WIFI and Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming service apps.
● Pet Policy: 3 pets are allowed with a $25 fee per pet. Please keep pets off furniture, clean up after them outside, and crate them if left alone indoors.
● Parking: There is room for up to 5 cars in the driveway.

Four comfortable bedrooms and two full bathrooms ensure everyone can relax and recharge for the next adventure.
Two of the bedrooms offer luxurious king-sized beds, perfect for a restful night`s sleep. The third bedroom caters to families or larger groups with a queen bed, a twin-over-twin bunk bed, as well as a full-over-full bunk bed – perfect for slumber parties or game nights! But the surprises don`t stop there.
Step outside and discover a charming converted shed, a unique space that cleverly combines relaxation and recreation. This multi-functional room features a cozy sleeping area with a full-over-full bunk bed and a full-sized futon, along with a dedicated game area for friendly competition.
Barefoot Bungalow truly embodies the laid-back island lifestyle. Two inviting porches beckon you to unwind – soak up the sun on the front porch or enjoy the tranquil view of the pond from the back deck. The expansive yard offers plenty of space for outdoor games and late night conversations by the firepit.
● Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee.
● Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.
● Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.

- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 12 need to be approved. We do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- The homeowner`s routine pool maintenance cannot be rescheduled and is required for the health and safety of our guests. They will not need to access the home but will access the yard.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.
