🏡 The Sidney has two bedrooms, one bath, and a big eat-in kitchen built for real use — marble counter, stove, all kitchen and coffee supplies, and tons of pantry storage. 🪸The coral living room has a sleeper sofa that sleeps 2, Bluetooth speaker, and soft, pretty natural light. 💗The pink king bedroom has a desk, closet, and king bed. 🌿The green queen bedroom is restful with clothing storage. ☕A short walk to some of Milwaukee’s best restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. 🌤️Outside: Front porch and a side deck. 📰As seen in Domino Magazine and BizTimes.

👩‍🎨 About the Owners

Lake Effect Club was dreamed up by three friends—two from Milwaukee, one who married in—who love design, storytelling, and this awesome city in equal measure.

We’re an architectural/interior designer, a director/producer, and a former fashion designer turned all-around creative. During the pandemic, we started imagining the types of places we’d want to stay, and how we could bring that feeling to Milwaukee: something colorful, thoughtful, and full of character.

A few years later, we found the right building—a 150+ year-old property—and brought it back to life with a thoughtful update, a mix of designer finds, local touches, new pieces and a whole lot of love.

We think Milwaukee is the greatest city on earth. This is our way of sharing it. 💛

Mid-Term Guest Policy:

For stays of 28 days or longer, the following requirements must be completed prior to check-in:

📌 Background Check: Required for each person staying, at a cost of $50 per person.
📌 Signed Lease Agreement: Must be completed and on file for all guests.
📌 Host Approval: Guests must pass the background and credit check requirements set by the host.

📌 Starter Supplies: Starter supplies such as coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, toiletries, and similar essentials are provided for the initial stay only. These items will not be replenished during long-term stays, and guests will be responsible for purchasing any additional supplies needed after the starter supply runs out.

These measures are mandatory and help ensure a secure, clear, and seamless experience for all parties.
To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable stay for all guests and neighbors, please follow the rules below:


No Parties or Large Gatherings

Parties, events, and large gatherings are strictly prohibited at any time.


Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM daily.
Please keep noise to a minimum and avoid loud music or disruptive behavior during these times.


Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside the home or within 20 feet of any entry door.
A $200 fee will be charged for smoke removal or cleanup of cigarette butts.


Pets

Pets are allowed only with prior written approval. Unauthorized pets may result in additional fees.


Safety

Do not tamper with, disable, or remove smoke or CO detectors or any safety equipment.
Report any issues immediately.


Respect for Neighbors

Be courteous and follow all local laws and neighborhood expectations.


Guest Count

Only the guests listed on the reservation may be on the property, regardless of age.
No unregistered overnight guests. Subleasing is strictly prohibited.


Trash & Cleanliness

Please tie all trash bags securely and place them in the designated outdoor bins.


Care for the Home

Help maintain the home by treating it with care:

Use coasters and cutting boards

Avoid staining or damaging furniture and surfaces

Report accidental damage promptly
