Perfect Location

The condo was clean and had everything we needed to make meals. They had beach chairs and towels for use. The location was great! Very close to everything we wanted to do and things that were 30mins out had a beautiful drive!

Fantastic experience

We are so happy that we stayed here, the private beach was breathtakingly beautiful, loved the area that we stayed in and liked having a little bit of distance from the busier part of the city. The condo was perfect, everything was very clean and we have nothing but positive things to say about this place, hope we can stay again in the future.

Great location, well maintained grounds, walking distance to most anything, bus easy to take around the Island. Only concern is some appliances need replacing, And termites may be in the wall between the fridge and cabinets

Family Reunion on Maui

Supplies provided should be adjusted to length of stay we ended up leaving extra toilet paper not sure if it’s saved for next rental or thrown away and that would be a waste.

WBH - a hidden Gem

Reviewer Comments: as always WBH is a great vacation spot - ocean front, big pool, not in crowded tourist are, small complex. Specific unit (#119) had some issues with cleanliness,and vey poor landscaping beside the lanai.

Waiohuli beach Halle is wonderful but the unit needs improvement

Needing some upgrades

This unit needs some upgrades. The lighting is bad, the fans are cheap and noisy. The AC units work well. I like the pool. It’s in the quieter side of Kihei but there are homeless people hanging around to get free meals at the church.

Great location, old condo

It doesn't seem like the condo has been updated in a long time, curtains had holes in it and the lounge chair was dusty and disgusting. After we requested they replaced the lounge chair with a new one. Other than that it's a great location, right on the beach. Kitchen and living room area is good. The place is well stocked beach essentials like beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas etc.

Our children loved it.Our condo unfortunately had an odor and a maggot infestation. Management worked to resolve the problem and it was a challenge.Despite this hiccup we would return. A week in paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit had pretty much everything we needed for our stay, and is in an awesome location for exploring Maui. Beach walking and finding turtles on the beach (we counted 29 one evening!), was a daily routine. The unit was clean and comfortable - ground floor allows quick and easy access to the facilities and beach. It does however need some updating! Cups, glasses, dinnerware and cutlery was a mishmash of all types and styles. Furniture is showing its age. Not a show stopper, but would be nice to see an upgrade.

Wonderful

Wonderful property, central to food and shopping areas. Condo was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed watching the sunset from the beach that was just a walk away. My child had a great time playing in the pool and I enjoyed sitting out in the patio, surrounded by beautiful plants. I highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Great Complex - not so great unit

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Waiohuli Beach Hale is a great complex - terrific location, splendid grounds, ocean front and a fantastic pool. However the quality of the individual units varies good to not so good. For example unit 119 had 2 unmatched wine glasses, 5 bbq tongs but no kitchen tongs, a bbq spatula but no kitchen spatula, a cheap,old toaster, no telephone, shower/tub combo that needs replacement, bathroom cabinets showing wear; much cupboard space taken with old unused appliances e.g. old electric can opener, front door outside light not working (Rentals Maui advised but not fixed by the time we left. Good AC in bedroom and living room. New sofa and chair good; new bed good. (note: had stayed in this unit a few years ago; it is somewhat better now.) Highly recommend Waiohuli Beach Hale complex but be careful what unit you get (units 111, 117 and 118 are 3 that we know specifically as "Excellent".The questions below should differentiate between the complex overall and the individual unit.

Spring Break Kihei vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a wonderful time with family with many good things to say about the rental. Only things we were disappointed with was the beach itself having lots of rocks (making it extremely difficult to get in the water without water shoes), and location made the winds kick up lots of sand during the days. The sand storms were very strong and caused everyone to be uncomfortable while on the beach. Water was also murky and not the pretty “Hawaiian postcard” water you typically see throughout Hawaii. The rental had a good amount of space for our family of 4, had all the kitchen supplies we needed, a wonderful lanai to enjoy mornings on, and a great outdoor bbq area. I know it is not the responsibility of the rental property, but it would have been nice if kids beach toys, functioning boogie boards, and more beach towels were provided. Just a recommendation ;)
