With one king bedroom, two queen bedrooms, and a cozy twin room, the home is designed for families, couples, and groups seeking a calm, comfortable escape.  Inside, soft coastal tones and open living spaces create a relaxing atmosphere after a day of exploring the island. Outside, the marsh becomes your backyard playground — launch a kayak from the private Lighthouse Landing dock, sip morning coffee as the sky glows, or unwind with a glass of wine as the tide rolls in.  Just a short walk from Old Baldy Lighthouse, West Beach sunsets, and the Bald Head Island Marina, this home offers the perfect blend of privacy and convenience. Hop in one of the two 4‑passenger golf carts and you’re minutes from the island’s best beaches, restaurants, and trails.

Our first trip to BHI was a short but amazing few days here celebrating our son’s engagement. Marsh Dreamin was a beautiful setting and extremely clean and comfortable for our family. Communication was so quick and efficient, and our host was very considerate of our time frame and needs. We look forward to returning!

Perfect location! The pictures are beautiful but can’t capture the breathtaking view, truly amazing. The host Mary was awesome with communication and had so many great recommendations for our family, clear island expert! The house was perfect and very well taken care of with a well stocked kitchen and everything we needed while we were there. We will be back to create more memories!

This place is an absolute GEM! The marsh view is breathtaking and the host makes you feel right at home. One of the best houses on Bald Head. Great location, as well. The house was spotless and nicely decorated. Comfy beds and cozy furniture. Everything seems brand new. I can see myself coming back to this exact same house quite regularly. Having a host that is not only quick to respond, but also knowledgeable of the island was a huge plus. I just can’t say enough good things about this place. Thanks, Mary!!!

For nearly 20 years, our family has been traveling from Ohio to the quiet beauty of Bald Head Island, a place that quickly became our favorite escape. Over two decades of visits, we dreamed of one day having a home here — a place where we could slow down, reconnect, and share the magic of the island with others. Marsh Dreamin’ is that dream come true.

Some of our happiest memories have been made right here: long days on the beach, swimming at the Shoals Club, cooking big family meals, exploring the marsh by kayak, hiking shaded trails, and teaching our kids how to crab off the dock. This island has given us so much joy, and opening our home to guests is our way of passing that feeling forward.

We hope your time here brings the same sense of peace, adventure, and togetherness that it brings to us every visit.

Lighthouse Landing has some of the best marsh views on Bald Head Island, and that’s exactly why we chose it. From this spot, you can watch the tides shift, birds glide across the creek, and the sunrise light up the water — all without leaving the deck. It’s peaceful, scenic, and feels like your own private corner of the island.

One of our favorite things about this neighborhood is how easy it is to get outside. You can throw a kayak in right out the back door, thanks to the direct access to the marsh. If you’re arriving without a tram, you can even walk to the ferry, which makes travel days simple and stress‑free.

And for a little island magic, the twin bedroom has a view of Old Baldy — a reminder that history and nature are always close by here. Lighthouse Landing gives you the perfect blend of quiet marshfront living while still being close to everything that makes Bald Head Island special.
