Beautiful location. Easy access to everything. However, hot water in hallway bathroom sink not working only cold water. Huge 2.5 inch cock roach crawling in living room on last night stay. Need to spray for those.

Wake up to the sounds of lawn maintenance.

We really liked the property. The only thing that was difficult to deal with was the 8:25 AM wake up call by the lawn maintenance company. Trimming the bushes right outside the bedrooms. At least the work that another crew was doing with the hammers was further away.

So often we have our 2 grandsons there and have to bring a blow up mattress since the boys cannot share a bed. Noticed crack on ceiling when we were in dining room looking up. This unit is well supplied with dishes etc. would be nice to have additional sheets.

The only criticism I have is that the Wi-Fi signal was not that strong, as it was fairly weak in the dining and living room areas. There was also little or no connection on the patio. A Wi-Fi extender in the living or dining room area would probably help with a better signal. Other than that, we would definitely rent this unit again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have a literally been going to this place for 25 years. Our extended family meet there yearly. Structural the place has a good design for such multiple family get-togethers. It’s probably though the only reason why we stay here. The condos are decently appointed, some better, some more tired than others. The spaces themselves are adequate, albeit expensive - $3,500+ for a 5 day stay! You would think that at $700 a night that freezers would come with all the bins attached and that they can provide you with more than simply 2 1/2 ounces of dishsoap, perhaps throw in a $.30 sponge and maybe give you more than 2-4 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for 5 days. But alas, no such luck here. My main complaint about this place is that the owner organization that runs it is cheap & management that maintains it is aloof and in general distant when it comes to resolving issues. Every year the batteries in the smoke alarms go off during the visit. Nothing changes with this place from year to year. All the units have scratched up nonstick pans in them and a bunch of other assorted random garage sale find plateware and kitchen items. Again, some units better supplied than others. When there is an issue with a unit the management always responds with, “We’ll let the owners know but there’s nothing we can really do, sorry” with a general face and tone that communicates, “let’s move on.” It’s not that I don’t believe them but I find their general responses to be uninvested in the client experience. Ultimately, the owner board for this organization has had long-standing systemic protocol issues. They do not give management any authority to buy small items that need replacement in each unit. Every item down to the $10 items need approval from the owners which the general management states are often difficult or timely to get a hold of. We specifically wanted to stay in 104 since my mother would be with us and has mobility issues. The unit was nice however the AC was not working when we first arrived. Since it was after the office closed (4pm) we had to call a number for maintenance. They arrived to assist. Initially thought it was fixed only to realize a half hour later it was not. We contacted maintenance again and they were print to respond. We also had a ceiling leak right above the kitchen counter by the microwave. Maintenance said they would look at it once we depart. The only other item, BRING BUG SPRAY!!! The sand flees are awe full especially by the outdoor grilling area.

Okay, but problems with the A/C on the first and last days.

We like this unit and have stayed in #104 twice this year; however, this time we had problems with the A/C the first and last days of our stay. Our last night was difficult trying to sleep with the heat.

Fantastic office staff they are so friendly and helpful. I would suggest removing carpet in bedroom and spraying. We had a lot of bites& wondered if sandfleas in carpet or bed being on 1st floor.. We did not go out at night and feel the bites occurred while sleeping. Also unit needs new bedspreads. Over all we really enjoyed sandcay. Thank you for a perfect vacation.
