Unit 320 review

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First off the gulf view consisted of the top of trees and the horizon, no sand no shore and could not see people in water. Next you took the elevator out of service all day Sunday which condemned my invalid wife and myself to stay in our room all day. The elevator was not broke, you gave us no warning, you did not tell us when we rented. I fully intend to sue you for 1/3 of my money back!

Great Condo with great location.

Very well designed and clean condo right on the beach. Beautiful interior decor and furniture with great kitchen with everything you would need on vacation. We loved the stay. One recommendation we would make is replace the master bedroom mattress due to its age and major deformation.

First stay at Sand Cay.... Hope to return!

Great location with a nice view. Very clean and well furnished. Loved the "nook" with the small sleeper sofa. Only one constructive comment .... master bedroom mattress probably should be replaced.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always enjoy staying at Sand Cay. We had two issues this time: we had a dangerously faulty outlet in the second bedroom where young children slept. We called Monday morning but the problem wasn't taken care of. We had to call back Tuesday morning and soon after we called the problem was fixed. We stayed in unit 320 and the elevator was not working when we left on 1/18. Someone from the office said they would send someone up to help us with our large suitcases Thursday morning but no one showed up.

Great Location

Condo was in a great location -- just steps to the beach and pool. Appreciated the beach toys/boogie boards and beach towels in the unit since we flew in with our kids. Also nice that chairs are available on the beach at no additional charge.

Beach get away

So easy to walk from condo down to the beach and enjoy the sun and take walks. Nice clean unit with plenty of space.

Plus this unit did not provide basic needs like a sponge for the kitchen sink or coffee filters or salt and pepper....actually, don’t know if that is the unit owners decision or Sand Cay’s. Either way, it’s annoying to have to buy such items if you are only staying for a week. Before you book, ask questions about these things.

Nice Condo in a great location

spent a long weekend with friends in this condo. We road our bikes everywhere with many shops and restaurants close by. The beach was lovely with plenty of chairs. The condo was clean and a nice size. We really enjoyed our stay.

We aren't real picky as we care most about the location, the beach and a balcony with a nice view. Out room 320 was clean and ready for us. For a premium room it really needs some updating. The baths are OK but the furniture and wall decor it early 80's. The mattress is also ready for retirement. It was well stocked although a few condiments would be nice (no salt). Appliances worked well, especially the ice maker. A/C was in good shape. And had plenty of beach stuff. Could upgrade the styrofoam beach cooler.

Great beach resort

We loved our stay at Sand Cay! Pros: resort is just steps to private beach with lots of beach chairs available. Pool area also has lots of seating. Condo (#320) was well stocked in kitchen as well as beach toys, towels & umbrellas. Private balcony with views of the gulf. Cons: Condo (#320) master bed is worn out and should be replaced. No washer/dryer in unit like some units have (but there is on-site laundry). Not walkable to restaurants/shops ( must drive 3-5 miles ). We will definitely be back to this resort for a quiet beach vacation, if looking for more touristy spot this is likely not the resort for you.

The location is perfect, the condo was great, the facilities are all designed to make your stay comfortable and convenient. We love the quiet and peaceful location that is close to fabulous restaurants, shopping, and activities. I would give five stars to the staff, too. They are so friendly and helpful. We recommended Sand Cay to several friends who are now yearly renters there as well. We hope to make Sand Cay our vacation spot every year.

Melissa, the property manager and her team are great. Maintenance team is very responsive.During our stay the refrigerator broke and the repair and replacement was prompt. Our unit was partially updated but I was disappointed with a half size dishwasher and the worst sagging mattress in the master that I have ever experienced. In the future I would return to the complex but chose a different unit.complex 5 starsunit 3 stars

a favorite of ours

always enjoy our time at sand cay. we are regulars at this spot. staff is great, condos are perfect for our needs. beach access and pool are so close and easy access. we usually get in after hrs and everything is ready for us. location is quiet, family friendly. if you are looking for a vacation on the down low, its a perfect spot.
