There are three inviting bedrooms—two on the lower floor and one on the main floor—offering a comfortable setup for families and friends.

WATER ACTIVITIES

Diamond Lake is known for its clear, swimmable waters. The shoreline is a mix of sandy and rocky areas that gradually deepens near the dock. Guests can enjoy a variety of water equipment provided for outdoor fun.

Mornings are peaceful, with calm waters perfect for quiet reflection, while weekends bring a lively yet laid-back vibe as boaters enjoy the lake. Just 20 minutes away, Bancroft—the `Mineral Capital of Canada`—features unique shops, the Mineral Museum, and the famous Rockhound Gemboree in August. Outdoor enthusiasts will love nearby hiking trails, lookouts, and ATV routes.

Bancroft has everything you need, including grocery stores (Foodland and No Frills) and casual dining spots like Vito’s for Italian and Kawartha Dairy for ice cream and mini-golf. Whether you`re enjoying local adventures, dining out, or simply relaxing by the water, Diamond Lake is the perfect balance of peaceful retreat and outdoor fun.

➤ The best way to get around is with your own vehicle as there isn`t much public transportation around the area

➤ There are stairs and a gentle slopping hill to the water.

➤ Please note: Towels and sheets are NOT provided. Guests are responsible for bringing their own during their stay.

➤ We provide a propane tank for your convenience. If it happens to run out during your stay, the nearest store for a refill is just a quick 10-minute drive away.

➤ Feel free to bring your own firewood, as we don’t supply it at the property.

➤ This cottage runs on a septic system, so to avoid damage, please do not dispose of any food, grease, or solids in the sink.

➤There are a number of water toys for your enjoyment: Two SUPs, paddle boat and a canoe.
•Use at your own risk - Life on the water is fun, but it comes with risks. Guests assume all responsibility when using water equipment.
•LIFE JACKETS ARE MANDATORY for all guests. No exceptions!

1. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; sound will travel through the walls if too loud.

2. No parties or events allowed.

3. No pets allowed.

4. Guests assume all responsibility when using water equipment. Life jackets are mandatory for all guests while on watercrafts. No exceptions!

5. This cottage runs on a septic system, so to avoid damage, please do not dispose of any food, grease, or solids in the sink.

6. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible.

7. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and `use of fire` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed.

8. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund.

9. Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 11:00 am. We`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them.

10. Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in).

11. As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 30 days or longer. The midterm cleaning will take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning is mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property.

12. The cleaning fee for the mandatory mid-stay clean will be charged through Airbnb resolutions.

13. Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos.

14. For your security and protection the property is equipped with an exterior camera.

15. Please remember to take all of your belongings with you upon checkout. Any items left behind will incur a $50 Mailing fee (separate from the cost of postage). We will do our best to send your items back to you within a week.

16. Guests who fail to arrive for their reservation, for any reason, will be considered no-shows. No-shows are non-refundable, and no credits, reschedules, or exceptions will be provided under any circumstances.

17. If not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest you will be liable for the costs.

18. If you were a previous/current guest and did not respect our house rules and our property, we have the right to decline your next reservation.

We were disappointed with our stay at this property. Upon arrival, the place was not clean — the floors had not been vacuumed or washed, everything was dusty, the washroom had hair left in it, and there was even stuff stuck to the walls.The photos on the listing were also misleading; for example, the kitchen table had been moved in the pictures to make the kitchen look larger than it actually is.During our stay, we ran out of basic supplies like dishwasher pods and propane. We even had to make a trip into town to purchase propane ourselves in order to use the barbecue.While the property has potential, the lack of cleanliness, misleading photos, and missing essentials made our experience less enjoyable than expected.
