Welcome to the Ultimate Cambridge Mansion — a rare Queen Anne / Colonial Revival luxury residence in the heart of East Cambridge, sleeping up to 14 guests.
Believed to be one of the last of its kind, this beautifully restored 4,000 sq ft architectural gem blends historic grandeur with elevated modern comfort. Renovated into two spacious duplex-style residences, the home features 4 bedrooms, 4.5 spa-inspired bathrooms, multiple living areas, and thoughtfully designed spaces ideal for relaxing and reconnecting.
Perfectly located between Harvard University (1.6 mi) and Downtown Boston (1.7 mi), with easy access to MIT, Kendall Square, Back Bay, and the Seaport. Enjoy world-class dining, culture, and innovation while returning to a quiet, refined residential retreat.
Each floor features independently controlled heating and air conditioning, allowing guests to customize comfort throughout the home.
Ideal for:
• Families & multi-generational groups seeking space and privacy
• Friends traveling together in a calm, respectful setting
• Harvard, MIT & medical professionals visiting for academic or hospital stays
• Extended stays, relocations, or longer visits requiring comfort and walkability
This home is designed for relaxed, high-quality stays — no events or parties.
GUEST AGREEMENT
• The primary booker assumes full responsibility for all guests and for compliance with these House Rules & Disclaimers.
• ID Verification Required As part of our standard check-in and security process, guests are required to complete a brief ID verification prior to arrival. Failure to complete this requirement will result in cancellation in accordance with platform policies.
• Release of Liability: This home is privately owned. Owner/hosts not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises or responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables. It is also agreed that all guests are assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
HOUSE RULES
NOISE & QUIET HOURS (10pm- 7am)
• This is a duplex property. While each unit is fully private, normal household sounds may occasionally travel between units. This is standard for duplex living and does not qualify for refunds or cancellations.
• No parties, events, or gatherings are not permitted at any time.
ELECTRONICS & CLIMATE CONTROL
• Please do not unplug TVs, lamps, or the coffee machine. All devices are intentionally placed and pre-set for optimal use.
• Thermostat temperature should remain between 68°F and 78°F.
• When leaving the home, kindly unplug personal electronics such as hair dryers, curling irons, and similar devices.
GENERAL HOUSE RULES
• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, both indoors and outdoors, with particular care around the toddler play area.
• Only registered guests listed on the reservation are permitted on the property.
• Smoking, vaping, drugs of any kind is not permitted inside or around the property.
• Pets are not permitted.
• Mail or package deliveries are not permitted at the property.
• Loitering outside or around the home is not permitted.
• Plumbing Care: Flush toilet paper only.
PARKING
Two tandem parking spaces for standard-size vehicles are provided for your stay.
• Please enter and exit slowly and remain attentive to pedestrians at all times.
• Vehicles must not block the sidewalk or pedestrian access at any time.
TODDLER PLAY & FAMILY AMENITIES – DISCLAIMERS
We’re pleased to offer family-friendly amenities to enhance your stay, including a dollhouse, train table, stroller, baby bath, high chair and playpen.
Important Safety Information for dollhouse and train table
• Intended for children ages 3 and up.
• Adult supervision is required at all times.
• No climbing, standing, or rough play.
• Small pieces are stored in labeled containers—adults must handle and supervise use.
• Parents/guardians assume full responsibility for safe use.
These amenities are inspected regularly. If anything appears damaged, missing, or unsafe, please notify us immediately.
SAFETY NOTICE
This is a four-level home with stairs leading to each floor. Please use caution at all times.
ADDITIONAL AND SECURITY
For your safety and security, we have two active doorbell security cameras. One is located at the exterior front entrance, the other is located at the rear entrance behind the house. These cameras record video and audio when motion is detected. These cameras are carefully positioned to ensure they do not face into the interior of the home, preserving your privacy. There are no indoor cameras.
Additionally, there is a smart home noise monitoring device in the kitchen. This only detects noise decibel levels. This device does not record audio or video. The purpose is to help ensure noise levels remain appropriate, preventing disturbance to our neighbors and supporting a peaceful environment.
Security cameras and noise monitoring devices operate 24/7.
