Finca Catrell in Crestatx

Charming country house in the hills between Pollensa and Sa Pobla. Finca Catrell features a very nice gardens, a private pool and offers stunning views of the countryside.

Finca Catrell is located in Crestatx, a residential area between Pollensa and Sa Pobla in the North of Mallorca. The house is very well connected to the infra-structure with easy access to the beaches and villages of the North coast and also to the capital Palma. This makes the house an ideal starting point to discover the island. Cyclists will find a series of demanding routes starting at their doorstep.

The surroundings of Sa Pobla are known for its wide fields, where the produce for almost all the island is grown. The village itself has a nice centre with traditional cafés, restaurants and shopping facilities. It keeps busy all year. The distance to Pollensa is approximately 15 minutes by car, the fine beach Playa de Muro is only about 10 km away. Puerto Alcudia which offers a nice variety of sports and spare time activities is about 13 km driving distance.

Alcúdia has a very nice historic old town with pedestrian zone, restaurants, cafés and good shopping facilities. The marina Puerto Alcúdia has a nice seafront promenade with shops and restaurants from fine dining to family friendly and offers a wide selection of watersports activities. The seaside resort along the beach has nightlife, restaurants and leisure activities for all tastes and age groups. The bay is famous for its fine sandy beach and the shallow waters. Wind- and kite surfers will find excellent conditions!

The old town of Pollença is particularly beautiful. The narrow cobbled alleys are lined by traditional shops, boutiques, restaurants and cafés. On Sundays they stage one of the most popular and beautiful markets of the islands, with stalls running throughout the old town and its central square. The Plaza Mayor is also the place visit during the week to observe the daily live in this nice little town on one of the shady terraces of the cafés and restaurants.

The vivid harbour of Pollensa has a long seafront promenade with splendid views of the Pollensa bay and Cap Formentor. It is lined by restaurants, bars, cafés and shops. The long sandy beach offers all amenities like sunbed hire, beach bars, showers and shops in walking distance. Due to this infrastructure and the shallow waters it is ideal for families.

The area around Pollensa is popular with cyclists, bikers and hikers alike, due to the wide variety of routes and tracks leading through the mountains. Golfer have the choice between several golf courses and the bay of Pollensa is particularly famous among surfers and sailors, but also offers any kind of other popular water sports.

Finca Catrell is a comfortable holiday home for 6 furnished in the traditional style of a Mallorcan country house. All on one floor it offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a seperat, fully fitted and well sized kitchen with a breakfast table and an open-plan living/dining area with a lot of natural light, high ceilings with wooden beams and a fireplace. The house is very sunny throughout, two of the bedrooms, the kitchen and the living room have access to the terrace and the garden.

All bedrooms are fitted with air-conditioning running on a timer (about 6 to 8 hours).

Finca Catrell beatures a beautiful garden with pool, several terraces, a brick-built BBQ and spectacular views of the countryside. The covered terrace is overlooking the pool and is fitted with a dining table. Clients have a table tennis table at their disposal.

Children are welcome. A cot and a high chair are available free on request.
