PARKING

Street parking in this neighborhood is extremely limited and heavily regulated with frequent street-cleaning days. Spots can be difficult to find, especially evenings and overnight. Please plan accordingly and read all posted signs carefully.

For a stress-free option, most guests use the West Side Avenue Park & Ride near the Light Rail station — it’s convenient, close by, and costs only $2.70 per day.

Guest access
You’ll have the entire Modern Verde apartment to yourself.
Entry is simple and private:

Step 1: Open the green exterior door shown in the photo.

Step 2: Walk through the shared hallway (only shared with the unit below).

Step 3: Open the second green door — this is your apartment’s private entrance.

Once inside, the whole 3BR unit is yours. No shared rooms, no shared living spaces. Just the short entry hallway is shared.

Other things to note
• Street parking is extremely limited. This neighborhood has strict street-cleaning rules and very few open spots, especially in the evenings or overnight. Please do not expect easy parking on the block.

• Nearby parking lot option. Many guests choose to park at the West Side Avenue Light Rail Park & Ride. It’s inexpensive, convenient, and avoids the hassle of street rules. (Rates and overnight policies may change — please check signs and posted instructions.)

• Guest count must match the reservation. For safety, insurance, and city compliance, only registered guests may stay in the home. No unregistered visitors or extra overnights.

• Noise transparency. This is an older Jersey City home. Normal household sounds from the unit above (footsteps, daily movement) may be heard.

• Shared laundry. The washer/dryer is in a shared area downstairs. The housekeeper may access this space during daytime hours.

• Quiet hours. Please be mindful of neighbors in the late evening.

• No parties or events. This is a residential home.

• No smoking inside the apartment. Fees apply for violations.
