Perfect for our family of seven adults! We spent seven nights relaxing and days enjoying several wineries and distilleries in the area. It is secluded but conveniently located within 10 minutes of the Bluegrass Parkway for easy access to many stops along The Bourbon Trail. Additionally, the lodge is very well appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed for the meals we prepared while there. Erin, the host, was great! She reached out to make sure we were settled in after arriving and responded promptly if we had any questions. We'd definitely return!!

Only thing that could have been better was driveway access to the property as we were on motorcycles. Definitely not their problem, more our problem.Was extremely happy with our time there.

Enjoyed family time with sunsets and fire pit. A bit off the beaten path if planning to explore the Bourbon Trail.

So happy you enjoyed the property. You’re right, the sunsets are amazing! It’s rural setting is definitely part of its charm. 25 minutes from Bardstown area distilleries and Wilderness Trail and 7 miles off Bluegrass Pkwy gives access to the entire Bourbon Trail within an hours drive.

What an amazing stay. Convenient drive to many bourbon tours and non bourbon activities. We lived coming back to the lodge, grabbing our cocktails and sitting on the wrap-around porch, watching the cows and farm view. Coffee on the porch was breathtaking to start every day. The owner was responsive when the grill needed attention, having a brand new one delivered very next day! We will be back!

Christmas vacation

The house was clean and in a great location. We loved staying there and are already planning our next trip. Our dogs loved meeting cows for the first time. Thank you for setting up the Christmas decorations they were very beautiful.

Perfect slice of heaven

It was absolutely fantastic... it was the perfect get away. You are able to relax and enjoy the quiet while taking in the sounds of nature. Would definately be staying here again if we ever make it to kentucky again. Host was also very helpful!

The Bourbon Lodge was a great location for many of the distilleries. Even though it’s out in the country that’s what we liked about it. Very nice, private and very comfortable.

Guys trip to Bourbon Trail

This was the perfect base camp for a guys trip to the Bourbon Trail. Andy the property manager was quickly responsive to any questions. Just wish we could have spent longer there!

A Beautiful Bourbon Trail Getaway

We had an awesome time staying at the bourbon lodge. The property and the cabin were exactly what were were looking for. Very charming, relaxing, and well equipped for our party of 8. The large dining room table was perfect for steak dinners and we enjoyed conversation and bourbon around the wood burning stove. I would definitely recommend this property.

Hi! My name’s Emily and I am the host of The Bourbon Lodge.

I was born and raised in Kentucky! My family owns The Bourbon Lodge, but I do most of the behind the scene/ managing the account! I have lived on a farm my whole life, which also The Bourbon Lodge is located on my grandfathers farm! How cool right?!

Being a host for this property has been amazing. I love meeting and talking to the people that come from all over to stay here!!
