Guest Access:

The building has an elevator for your convenience.
The Neighborhood:
Williamsburg has exploded in recent years to become the defining cultural force of New York City. From its industrial past, the neighborhood underwent a hipster-centric renaissance that is still evidenced in the plethora of indie music performances, gallery shows, local artisan storefronts and pop-ups. The area is also home to a number distilleries and wineries that show off the neighborhood’s flair for locally made spirits, while Smorgasburg packs in creative food vendors along the riverfront on summer Saturdays. Williamsburg is one of the City’s most exciting nightlife neighborhoods too, with many of NYC’s trendiest restaurants and clubs.
Because of its storied past, the neighborhood is home to diverse mix of longtime Brooklyn pioneers and creative newcomers, a true reflection of the multicultural mixing pot that is New York City. Central Williamsburg is still mostly walk-up apartments and row homes while luxury high-rises and condos have shoot up all over the waterfront in recent years. Regardless of where you go, the neighborhood is a good time from sunup to sundown, home to trendy boutique shopping, culinary exploration, outdoor day parties, and a thriving music scene.
Despite all this, those that live here prefer not to overthink it. The neighborhood relishes in the spotlight as a pop-culture trendsetter, but never takes itself too seriously. Instead, you’ll find a refreshingly care-free community where the motto is “do your own thing” - and always have a good time along the way.
Getting Around:
We are super conveniently located just 1 block from the L and G trains at Lorimer and Metropolitan. The L train cuts directly across reaching every major subway line in New York City. East Village is a mere 5 minutes away, Union Square only 10. A 7 minute walk will also take you to the M-J-Z trains. M for Midtown and J-Z for Financial District.
Alternatively, there is a Citibike rental on the park directly across the street. There is also a Ferry available about a 15 minute walk towards the waterfront.
We also highly recommend the Uber/Lyft/ Juno ride share services, an inexpensive way to call a car anytime, anywhere in NYC.
Google Maps has all the subways, buses, and public transit and is the best way to get directions. In addition, NYC has its own transit app called myMTA that is invaluable in figuring out how to get around in real-time.
There's a giant lot across the street with free parking and is generally available (but follows alternate side of the street parking rules).
Other Things to Note:
Please, please don't smoke inside the apartment. We are very allergic. Please remove your shoes inside of our apartment. The streets of New York are very dirty and we’d rather leave it outside. Also be gentle with the window latches, they allow the windows to open in different ways but can be a little tricky.
This listing is for minimum 30 nights*. That is NYC Department of Buildings compliant for rentals!
