Welcome to our family’s beloved getaway — a rustic cypress-raised cabin tucked into the heart of the Georgia coast’s serene marshlands. Surrounded by nature, this peaceful retreat is perfect for birders, kayakers, fishermen, or anyone craving a slower pace.
The house is simple, clean, and comfortable — but definitely rustic and well-loved. A long wooden walkway leads you out across the marsh to a private dock, where you can fish, crab, or launch a kayak into the winding tidal creeks.
Inside you’ll find:
• 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms
• A full kitchen and Wi-Fi
• A huge screened-in porch with a big, handmade table — perfect for family meals with a view
We’re just one mile from the Hare’s Neck Wildlife Refuge, a great spot for birding and biking, and just a short drive from the quaint fishing towns of Darien (20 min), Brunswick (40 min), and Savannah (45 min), each offering great seafood and Southern charm.
If you’re looking to unplug and reconnect with the rhythms of the tides, the birds, and the breeze — this place is for you.
