Check In is 4PM or thereafter and by 9AM for Check Out unless otherwise available and arranged ahead of time. NORTH CAPTIVA ISLAND is located in Lee County, FL, just offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. It lies north of Captiva Island and is separated from it by a channel called Redfish Pass, which was created by a hurricane in 1921. It is not connected to Sanibel, Florida. North Captiva is accessible only by boat or small plane, making it a secluded getaway. North Captiva Island offers an Incredible Abundance and Variety of Sea Shells, Marine, and Wild Life. Many days you will see Dolphins, Manatees, Tortoises etc. People travel from all over the World to Enjoy our Beaches, World Class Shelling, and Fishing! North Captiva Island is accessible by Boat or Ferries and is not connected to Sanibel/Captiva Island. Accessible ONLY BY Ferry or Boat - and with No Cars on the Island our main transportation is by Golf Cart, Biking, Running, or Walking. The Island currently offers 3 Restaurants, 2 Bars, 2 Ice Cream Spots within Gift or Convenience Stores, a Boats and Fun Store with Kayaks, Bikes, Golf Cart, Boat Rentals and Boating and Fishing Charters plus their General Store (all subject to change).

*We are located on the Barrier Island. North Captiva is ONLY ACCESSIBLE BY BOAT, DAILY FERRIES or a private plane with island airstrip rights. We ARE NOT ATTACHED to the mainland and there are no cars brought over OR allowed on island. On Island travel is by Foot, Golf Cart, Bike Etc.
*Most of our rentals are Weekends to Weekends (Sat to Sat, Sun to Sun) - 7 night minimums during Prime Rental Seasons, Spring Breaks, and Holidays. Lesser nights and other check in days may be available. Please INQUIRE if this is the case before requesting to Book.
*A 6 Seater Golf Cart IS included as complimentary with this rental - we expect all will be in working order yet please note - no compensation or replacement golf carts are provided should the cart need repairs or is inoperable during your stay. Cart is complimentary.
*Club Amenities are not included with this private pool home rental.
*Pets (up to 2 dogs) with paid Pet Fee are Welcome with shots, flea and tick up to date, house trained, picked up after, leashed and not on furniture - Please Inquire.
*Check In is 4PM or Thereafter and Check Out is by 9AM unless otherwise arranged and available ahead of time. Please make sure to note this information prior to booking flights and please purchase travel insurance which is always recommended!
*All Guests must complete and return the signed Homeowners Vacation Rental Agreement at least 24 hours prior to your stay per House Rules. Please request it if you would like to view a sample prior to booking.

YOUR VACATION STAY INCLUDES: A Private, Single Family Beach House, the Salt Water Private Pool, Outdoor Summer Kitchen, All Houses Linens, Towels, Beach Towels, Beach Toys, Beach Chairs for Each Registered Gues, 2 Beach Umbrellas, High Speed Internet, a Propane Grill with Propane Supplied and as needed, a Pack and Play, High Chair, and a Starter Sundries Package (i.e. paper towels, toilet paper, soaps, shampoo, conditioner etc.) that will be detailed in your Welcome Package is included. This rental reservation DOES include a golf cart. Also, Golf Carts can be rented at Boats and Fun located on North Captiva Island. This Private Pool Home DOES NOT include The Island Club at North Captiva Guest Amenities yet the Public may use the Right Hands Side Pool and Hot Tub and Guests can rent Fat Tire Bikes, Kayaks, Golf Carts Etc. at Boats and Fun located on North Captiva Island.

THE LOGISTICS: Vacations are all about Planning! So First Off -

DRIVING? Drive to Pineland Safe Harbor Marina and pay for your parking at the Ships Store and park in the Marina’s parking lot. With your reservation made ahead - take the Island Girl Charters Ferry to Mainstay/Barnacles Dock on North Captiva Island.

FLYING? Fly to RSW International Airport in Fort Myers, FL and drive to taxi to Pineland Safe Harbor Marina. Pay for parking in the Ships Store and park your car in the Marina Parking Lot. Reserve ahead your paid ferry to get on the 3PM or the 5PM Island Girl Charter's Ferry to arrive to the Mainstay/Barnacles Dock on Beautiful North Captiva Island and check in at the Ferry Office located at the back on the Ships Store. Should you be taking your own boat over ask me we can assist you with securing Boat Dockage! Make sure to book your ferry ASAP if your trip is upcoming and/or during a busier time like Holidays or February thru April as desired time slots can fill up. Ferry company times are also subject to change. Please note the ferries do not run after normal business hours typically 530/6PM so please note their times prior to you booking flights overwise you may need a private charter which is more expensive typically than the daily ferries. ONCE YOU ARRIVE ON ISLAND - Our On Island Concierge will be Awaiting Your Arrival at the Dock! Tortuga Concierge will then Check You and Your Family and your groceries and belongings into Your Beautiful Beach House! Groceries can be brought on the Ferry, Groceries can meet you at the Ferry by one of the Island's Personal Shoppers OR you may order head of time to have your Groceries, Seafood, and Beverages delivered right into our Refrigerator prior to and ready for your arrival!
