Lovely

The house was very nice, well organized and comfortable. It was wonderful to find a beachfront home that was just the right size for a smaller group. Moondance was well-equipped and nicely laid out. I especially enjoyed the loungers on the upper porch. So glad we spent our vacation here.

Fantastic stay

Everything about this house is first class… I’ve stayed at Carillon Beach three times and this is the nicest home yet…Perfect location right on the water and has everything you could need… Jo, the owner and Helen the property manager couldn’t have been more helpful. The six beach chairs included with the home are such a huge plus… Carillon is close to everything, and we couldn’t say enough positive about our vacation … we will definitely be back!

Beautiful views. Adorable, quaint beach home with nice amenities. Nice linens and towels. Safe location. We would rent again.

Amazing views!

We absolutely loved our stay at Moondance -fantastic patios and location overlooking the ocean, comfortable bedding, and stocked kitchen with all the gadgets and gear needed for cooking! Although more towels would have been nice, it was easily overlooked with the beautiful decor. We hope to stay here again!

Great week in late July ‘19

We’ve stayed at this house multiple times and it’s always great. Inside and out everything is really nice. The most peaceful view from the upstairs balcony.

This is our second year staying at Moondance, we love it. The home is beautifully decorated and maintained and the beach is pristine. Jo is wonderful to work with...there isn't any other place we would rather spend spring break. Thank you for a great week!

This was my favorite 30a vacation yet!

The house was beautifully decorated. There was plenty of sleeping room, the kitchen was amazingly well stocked. Being able to walk out your front door to the beach was priceless- especially with a toddler. Each member of the family agreed this was their favorite house!

Great vacation! House was perfect. It was spacious and as advertised. Jo (homeowner) was fantastic. She was a great communicator and was very helpful by suggesting places to shop-eat etc. My fiancee and I had the trip of lifetime!

Great house, great neighborhood, great location! The property manager (Helen) is super easy to call with any questions. The owner (Jo) is so easy to talk to. I felt like I was talking to one of my longtime girlfriends the first time we talked! She answered all my questions & told me things about the area I didn’t know. I highly recommend staying here! My husband & I will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Family Vacation!

My family had an amazing week at the Moondance house! It is a beautiful home in a great beach community. The location was absolutely perfect with incredible views from the porch and balcony. Restaurants and Grocery stores are just a short drive away. We loved that this area is less commercialized and we really felt like we got away on vacation! Jo was so nice and communication was great. Thank you!

Wonderful family vacation home

Our family loves staying in this beautiful beachfront home. We just had our second vacation at Moondance and hope to go back again next year. The house is perfect for families and the gates on the stairs make it safe for small children. Having direct access to the beach and sitting in the deck to watch the sunset makes for a very relaxing vacation. Beautiful furnishings, well equipped kitchen and a short walk down the stairs to the beach chairs are just perfect. Kids love the bunk room and gives them their own space. Jo and Helen are very responsive and easy to work with on the details of scheduling everything.

Beach Front Perfection

This is our second weeklong stay at Moondance. We obviously love it or would not have come back. The location is perfect!! It's so close to Panama City and Rosemary/Seaside, but it's private in Carillon Beach gated community so that you aren't fighting the crowds. We love that it safe for our girls to ride bikes and play without us having to watch them every second. Gorgeous views of the beach (with beach chair service) and sunsets are unbelievable. The decor is absolutely stunning. Joe is always great to work with and Helen (the property manager) was also super nice and helpful...hope to be back again soon!!

Beachfront Paradise

We loved everything about this stunning beachfront home in Carillon. We are a family of 5 - 2 adults and kids ages 13-23. Everyone was very comfortable and there was plenty of space to dine, play games and watch TV together. The owner and property manager were both very friendly and helpful with one small issue that arose with the Wi-Fi (just needed a reset) and it was up and working in no time. We’ve stayed in the area many times. Carillon is our favorite neighborhood, and this was our favorite home we’ve stayed in. While it’s not huge, everything is so well thought out, including plenty of comfortable seating, space to unpack for a long stay, and really functional cabinetry. Quick walk up to the little downtown in the neighborhood for coffee or food, and Publix and Rosemary both very short drives.

Best of the Best

If I could give this property 6 stars, I would! The house is immaculate, the furnishings are impeccable, and the location is phenomenal. Moondance is not your typical tired rental; it is clear that the owners have great taste and they have spared no expense in its maintenance and upkeep. A perfect day begins with a dip in the ocean, followed by a walk on the "sugar sand", then a pick up paddle board race with neighbors, and alternates between beach activities and the swimming pools (kids can ride safely bikes around this idyllic community). The upscale Rosemary Beach and Alys resorts are nearby for dining, shopping and exercise classes (yoga/tennis, etc). We still dream about the huge steamed, seasoned "peel and eat" shrimp offered in many restaurants and even at the local Publix supermarket! If you're looking for a luxurious beach house in a friendly & upscale area, this is IT!

Magnificent Moondance

This Carillon Beach home is truly magnificent! The decor is beautiful and so special with touches of seashell accents throughout. Moondance is perfect for anyone who wants to be close to Rosemary Beach and Seaside but wants a more private beach without the crowds. It's just a few minutes into Rosemary for shopping or dining. You won't want to leave the house though! The kitchen is top of the line and well stocked. We enjoyed dining outside on the first floor patio that faces the beach. The top floor patio was also a great place to read or just get away. The home's private walkover to the beach is so convenient! My 81-year old mom was able to go back and forth easily. This home is perfect for families with teens or senior citizens! The owner was very helpful! Moondance is a well managed and beautiful beach home that we would love to revisit!

Excellent Location & Beautiful Style

This was our first visit to this area so didn't know what to expect. We relied on the reviews of this property to make our travel decision. So I am providing information that may help the next traveler. We were traveling during the initial re-opening of the country after covid restrictions. Beachfront location was perfect. There were 6 comfortable beach lounges set up in front of the house daily - with cushions and umbrellas. This was so perfect and easy with children. The chair service stopped by to let us know he also has boogie boards available for rent. We could let the older kids head down to the beach early and watch them from the back porch. We ate breakfast and many meals on the back porch - the table set up and view are perfection. There were other families on the beach but it was never crowded. At night you can hunt for white crabs with flashlights! The neighborhood is private and beautiful. We rented baby gear that was delivered before we arrived and picked up the day we left. The house is very well appointed with comfortable beds, fluffy bath towels, fluffy beach towels and pretty iron gates at the top of both sets of stairs. This was a huge positive for our little one. The property manager was extremely responsive. Jo also answered questions throughout our trip. There is a cute restaurant in the neighborhood where you can grab a quick breakfast or lunch. If you are ready for more shopping and restaurants, Rosemary beach is a 5 minute drive from the house. This is perfect as the Rosemary beach area is great for shopping, riding bikes and dinner but is significantly more crowded. It was nice to go shop and then come back to our private oasis. We enjoyed several attractions on 30A - including "The Hub" and a trip to Seaside for shopping. We highly recommend this house and location. We are hoping to return soon!
