The river is just on the other side of the bike trail, less than a block to the river. On the river, you can enjoy tubing, kayaking, or canoeing. It is a stocked trout stream, so you can even enjoy guided fishing tours. This area has a few Amish communities, that you can explore too. On the Root River State Bicycle trail, you will enjoy 62 miles of paved cycling experience. There are plenty of hiking trails too!
