Villa LosAiresCR is a large upscale home set on 60 acres of secluded tropical forest, with warm days, stunning sunsets and cool evenings, replete with its own amazing waterfalls, swimming holes, private pool/spa and hiking trails. LosAiresCR is fully staffed with daily housekeeping, concierge services and breakfast provided.
The very well equipped main house (6000 sf/ on 3 levels) has a grand living area, air-conditioned bedrooms each with en-suite full bathroom, theater room, bar area, and an oversized commercial style kitchen. There is also a 3 BR garden cottage available separately. The large open-air great room is an ample family friendly space perfect for large gatherings. It has multiple sofas and dining tables, a bar and breakfast area and overlooks the pool. The space provides amazing sunset views with mountain and valley backdrops. There are large common areas for gathering and private areas for personal time. The garden area and spa provides a perfect dark sky setting to enjoy star gazing.

LosAiresCR is a bird watchers paradise and has amazing wildlife viewing right from the house. Toucans, hummingbirds, our resident sloth, howler monkeys and wildlife galore are all found here in our hillside setting. All of the wildlife photos shown were taken on site. You will have access to the whole property including the surrounding gardens and acres of tropical forest with tended trails. The area around LosAiresCR is quiet and safe. Feel free to walk as far as you like on the miles of country roads and enjoy the sounds and serenity of the rain forest. The spectacular 165 ft tall waterfall in the "Emerald City" is one of the best kept secrets in our area. It is a moderate, yet beautiful trek up river from the property (safely accessible in the dry season only)

The property is perfect for family gatherings, weddings and other special occasions. We host a number of themed retreat weeks each year, such as yoga and spiritual, organic food seminars, etc.

Our concierge, Esteban, is at your service throughout your stay. He is there each morning to help cook breakfast and is happy to help arrange the days activities as well, do shopping, coordinate meals/cooks, etc. There is a staff member available 24/7 to assist with any urgencies.

Rate quoted is for 3BRs in the main house and the price includes up to 5 guests with breakfast each morning. Additional guests are $49 per night. Maximum we can comfortably accommodate is 8.  Use of garden building bedrooms is available for $39 per night each.

The staff will put out complementary coffee, juice, eggs, toast, cereal and fruit each morning. We highlight a different one of Costa Rica's famous coffees each morning. If you would like to have a more complete breakfast served please let the concierge know. The typical breakfast in CR would include eggs to order, gallo pinto (rice and beans) with sour cream, warm hand made tortillas, empanadas, corn pancakes, sautéed plantains, bacon or sausage, and fresh fruit.

The property has an air-conditioned theater room, in-ground pool, 10 person spa, a giant chess board and chill out area in the adjacent gardens. Being at higher elevation we have pleasant warm days and cooler evening temperatures than the beach areas.

From the property one can hike to no less than eight amazing waterfalls and swimming holes. We are a short drive to the breath taking Nauyaca Waterfalls, deserted palm strung Pacific beaches, Manuel Antonio National Park and the EcoChontales. Enjoy plenty of jungle adventures such as river trekking, hiking, ATVs and horseback riding. Seasonal whale watching from Uvita and the Ballena National Marine Park are 50 minutes away. There are multiple options for white water rafting (seasonal) and deep sea fishing from the new Quepos marina.

LosAiresCR is 3.5 hours from SJO airport. 30 minutes by car from Dominical or San Isidro de El General.

Keep in mind that a 4x4 vehicle is needed to safely navigate the local gravel roads, especially in the rainy season.

We have two drivers available for hire, each with a luxury 7 pax SUV. They can provide airport pickup/dropoff and daily local transportation. Rental vehicles are widely available at SJO airport. The regional airport at Quepos is open and only 50 minutes away. It is a nice option if you don't have much luggage.

Late night arrivals are no problem and early arrivals after a red-eye flight can usually be accommodated with advance notice.
