☆☆ IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE ☆☆

• Our goal is for you to feel at home and have a carefree vacation at The Only TennISee Mountain Retreat; therefore, you’ll find our cabin stocked with supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, hygiene products and so much more. Many of our guests say that they only had to pack their clothes and groceries. Or better yet, use one of our concierge services and have groceries delivered and put away before you even arrive!
• You’ll find many little touches for an eco-friendly stay including recycling and many all-natural products.
• You help us make a difference in the local community, as with each stay, we donate to support kids entering the local foster care system.
• You’ll have access to our whole home with the exception of the utility and storage closets (in the bunkroom and under the stairs in the basement.
• Check-in is a breeze with a digital lock. The pool room also has a digital lock to keep your littles safe.
• If you are bringing a pet, this must be included in your booking so that the applicable pet fee is included in your rate. Please keep your dog leashed when outdoors. Please be courteous and pick-up after your pets. We also provide towels and a vacuum so that you can help protect our cabin. We provide a 36"L x 23"W x 25"H crate and ask that you kindly crate your pet when unattended.
• The roads in the community are windy and steep, so we suggest AWD or 4WD year-round and it is required in winter months (January and February)
• Per our house rules, you will be required to sign a renter’s agreement at the time of booking where a copy of your ID will be requested. Please be sure your name, photo and birth year are visible. If you would like a copy of the renter’s agreement prior to booking, please ask. We are happy to provide it.
• Also per our house rules, you will be required to schedule a $500 security deposit hold at the time of booking. The hold is processed the day before your check-in and as long as the cabin and property are left in good condition, it is released within 3 days of your check-out.
• We understand that accidents happen. As part of your reservation, you will receive accidental damage protection for up to $500 (exclusions apply). We kindly ask that you inform us of any damages in a timely manner so we can start the remediation process. If the damage was caused by negligence, breaking of house rules or it falls under the exclusions, it may be withheld from your security deposit. Again, communication is key. Likewise, should you find anything broken upon arrival, please notify us right away so that we can correct the situation for you.
• There is no smoking or vaping in the cabin.
• Guests consistently praise our attention to cleanliness, which is possible by our guests keeping the cabin tidy so our cleaning team can do a thorough clean each time. Our check-out instructions are basic, and we reserve the right to withhold money from the security deposit if you do not complete the requested tasks. We stand behind our cleanliness standards and will promptly address any concerns you have.
• There are no refunds for weather. We suggest you consider purchasing travel insurance for possible cancellations.
• For the safety and security of our guests and the neighborhood, there is 1 external security cameras on the front porch facing outward from the cabin.
• Safety is paramount to us! Therefore, we've thought of every detail so that you don't have to worry while on your vacation. You'll find things like mini flashlights, a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and emergency evacuation binder, all strategically placed, should an emergency arise.
