Thanks for the review! We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and hope you will stay with us again. We take great pride in cleanliness and we get a lot of compliments on how clean our places are from our guests. Sorry and thanks for letting us know about the shower head and missing bath mat. They both have been fixed/replaced. We chose to leave the bathrooms small, but functional, to maximize the space in the living area and to be able to provide a closet for storage. The same decision was made for the kitchen. We just wanted it functional, but did not want it to take up any more space than it needed. We assume not much time would really be spent in either the bathroom or the kitchen compared to the living area. In the rental agreement, we state that "Rates include a one-time linen and towel setup. This includes and initial supply of soap, toilet paper, and paper towels." In the past, we have had guests ask for extra toilet paper and we are happy to supply a little extra if requested. Unfortunately, the boat parking is always subjective to how many other vehicles are there, what type of vehicles are there, and of course how the other tenants park. It is also subjective to the size of the boat. If the parking lot is crowded, we also have parking space by the street on Broadway Street and 3rd Street as well. During the summer, customers will take advantage of this extra parking space on the street when needed. It still keeps their boats close to the cottages and within eye sight. For our smaller cottages, we always be sure to explain to people about the size and layout. We agree, they are ideal for 2 people or 4 people who would like to save a little money. Many families prefer our smaller cottages for bonding and to spend quality family time all together in one cozy cottage. We hope you choose to stay with us again!

The photos are exactly what the room looks like so not sure what photos you are referring to. Many of our reviews state “exactly as advertised”. All the cottages were updated less than two years ago after Harvey. The fridge is brand new and the stove was replaced after Harvey. Not sure what water damage you are talking about since everything, including the roofs, were recently replaced. There is a line at the ceiling where the cottages meet where joint tape is peeling but that is not water damage, it is a paint issue. The bathrooms are small but sized accordingly for being a studio and we feel there is more than enough lighting. Sorry you did but enjoy your stay with us but we feel most of this review is inaccurate.

Thanks for the review. The refrigerator was replaced 5 days before your arrival so not sure why the ice maker would not have been working. We checked it today and it is working fine. I can only assume the on/off lever was not in the right position. I wish you would have told us about this during your stay so it could have been resolved right away. Also, we took your suggestion and purchased new ice trays for all the cottages as a backup or alternative to the ice maker.
