Location:
The Baltic Sea resort of Dahme (one of three Baltic Sea resorts) is located on the Bay of Lübeck between Grömitz and the island of Fehmarn, featuring a 6.5 km-long sandy beach stretching eastward. The 1.5-km-long promenade, with its shops and ice cream parlors, invites you to take a leisurely stroll. The newly created Baltic Sea Lounge, complete with palm trees, rounds out a perfect day of vacation. Dahme is located in the sunniest region of Germany, with approximately 2,000 hours of sunshine. To the north, you’ll find the unspoiled dune landscape with swimming spots; to the south, the cliffs with bird sanctuaries. The surrounding countryside, with its numerous biking and hiking trails, also offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. From the dike, you can visit many beaches without having to use the main roads. There are also plenty of activities for children and the young at heart: playgrounds, a skate park, children’s entertainment, a kids’ harbor, a streetball court, a surf school, mini-golf, pedal boats, a bouncy castle, and much more to fill your free time.
