Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Host checked in with us almost daily. Nothing needed repair. Our only issue was the laundry area was in a shared room with all other cabin visitors.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sandy Shores Garden Unit. It was very clean, beautiful property and perfect location. We had everything we needed included in the unit or a short walk away. Can’t wait to visit IRB and Sandy Shores again in the near future.

We had a very relaxing 5-night stay. This property has an "old Florida" feel which is what we look for and we appreciate most. Property was very clean and our host thoroughly explained all the features when we arrived. The gardens were beautiful and obviously a labor of love. We stayed in the Garden unit but I think we will upgrade to the Gulf unit for the next stay so we can enjoy the beach view even in the rain. Thank you, Myrtle, we loved visiting your home.

Sandy Shores is truly an charming, beautiful paradise. The tropical grounds, right on beach, couldn't have been more wonderful! Myrtle was an exceptional host. She made sure all was taken care of, including her guests! Can't wait to go back!

The host, Myrtle, is wonderful and the location is clean and well equipped. The beach location is a piece of old Florida with spectacular sunsets. We have stayed in numerous IRB locations. This is the best.

The property was very well kept and Myrtle was an excellent host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The only issue we had was that we weren’t able to stay longer and had to go back home to go to work lol.

This place was everything we wanted for a beach vacation. It was walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. We sat on the patio with a snack and a glass of wine while we watched the sunset. The beach was never crowded.Myrtle, the owner, is one of the nicest people you will meet.Did I mention it is on the beach.

Peaceful stay

We really enjoyed Myrtle and her place. Perfect spot near places to shop and eat along with being on the beach as a HUGE bonus. It was a perfect family cottage for our small family of three!
