Disfrute de nuestra auténtica casa de troncos tallados a mano Old Virginia ubicada en Northlake Resort, Canaan Valley WV. Ofrecemos un valor excepcional más un lago de aguas profundas de 11 acres con excelente pesca de captura y liberación (sin motores). No se requieren licencias de pesca. Los huéspedes tienen acceso al lago, un pequeño estanque, un muelle, un sendero alrededor del lago, además de un juego de juegos de gran escala. También hay un refugio de 40 por 60 pies disponible con barbacoa y gran chimenea de piedra. O simplemente pasar el rato en nuestro jacuzzi al aire libre ubicado en una cubierta envolvente de 1500 SF O en el interior con nuestro aire acondicionado central. Ubicado a solo 3. 5 millas al sur de Davis WV ya 5-6 millas de las estaciones de esquí.

This is an amazing place to be with friends or family. The cabin is very well equipped it has all the amenities you can imagine. It is a nice place for walking, hiking or spare time with nature. Our host help us to get around.We definitely had a memorable time.

The Cabin was very cozy, and we enjoyed all the walking paths by the house and the neighborhood, just far enough away from a town that makes it easy to pop in to get stuff but also far enough to enjoy the starts at night.

The entire cabin was lovely. The kitchen was very stocked with very nice dishes and plenty of glasses. We loved the morning sun and the evening sun was great for Happy Hour.

The log cabin was the perfect place for a perfect family vacation. It was well stocked, very clean, comfortable, and offered plenty of space for many activities. The wrap-around porch was a treasure. The area was quiet, the lake was inviting, and I can't say enough about the view of the night sky -- simply beautiful. We loved it and hope that we can do it again in the future. The owner was cordial and very easy to work with -- Thanks Cy!!!

Spring Break 2025

Very well kept cabin with plenty of space and a great location in the center of all outdoor activities and close to the town of Davis as well. The host went above and beyond to set up a recording on YouTube TV for me (The Masters!) in case we arrived late. Thank you Cy!

Comfy Cabin

Our family of grandparents, children and grandkids gathered at the cabin for the long Presidents’ Day weekend. We had planned to ski, tube and skate, but Mother Nature had other ideas. There was heavy rain for two solid days ending with a blizzard the evening before we left. None of that mattered because we thoroughly enjoyed being together in this cozy cabin, playing games, sitting in front of the fire and cooking in the well appointed kitchen. The owners thought of everything. We would definitely love to return in the future.

Great Cabin for a Relaxing Stay

The pictures do not do this place justice. The view from the cabin was great, and everything was well kept. The neighborhood was quite nice as well. The central location of the cabin also made it convenient for visits to Thomas and Davis, as well as Canaan Valley.One thing I would note is that you need to bring your own sheets. I do not believe the listing mentions that, but everything else was as described and the owner was very cordial.

Perfect Getaway!

Our stay at the cabin was perfect! The house was pristine.....clean, spacious, full of everything the 10 of us needed, and great location! The wrap around porch was nice to sit and enjoy our morning coffee and played corn hole on it in the evening. We were able to walk our paddle boards and fishing equipment to the lake. 5 minutes to the town for shopping, dinner, and drinks. Will definitely come back.

Sweet summer cabin vibes…

Cabin was spacious and clean…loved the surrounding property. We enjoyed a little archery competition in the front yard and kayaking in the community lake. Fishing was easy and even a first-timer traveling with us caught something! The driveway was big enough to accommodate four vehicles and a trailer. Wrap around porch and hot tub made morning coffee and evening wine go down even easier. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Great time

Great fishing giant bluegills bass were smaller but a ton of them and very aggressive my whole family caught tons of fish every day and the walks around the lake and property were great same as Blackwater falls and the little town of Davis people were very friendly.

Great winter spot!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. The location is centrally located for all winter activities in the area and the house was well outfitted. The house is a beautiful log cabin with a wrap around porch, hot tub, and beautiful view of the lake. Everything is very well cared for and it’s a quick drive into Davis for groceries. The only thing that could have been improved was some of the pre-arrival booking info and instructions. We tried to book at the price listed, but were asked to pay more because the owner “only rents to families” even though we were married couples in our 30s. However this was a minor issue which was corrected and we all had a great stay.

Fantastic place to stay during a big snow and weekend of skiing!

We had a fantastic stay at the rental! The spacious layout provided ample room, and its convenient location near ski resorts was a highlight. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace, well-stocked kitchen, air hockey table, hot tub, and a variety of board games. The abundance of snow we got over the weekend added to the charm, making it a perfect retreat for a memorable getaway!

Wonderful winter house

this house is really fantastic. well maintained, quality house, well stocked with everything you could want. a clean hot tub, pretty much kid-proof (with toys and dollhouse!!), excellent communication, sledding hill out front, not drafty and super cozy layout. it was perfect for our annual friends get together with kids. absolutely loved it. hopefully we will be back.

Great cabin for family vacation

Location, location, location! We chose this property because Northlake Resort has so much more to offer than just skiing and is truly a multi-seasonal destination. In fact, the winter season (180 inches of snow annually) is awesome but where we really excel are the summer and fall months because all guests have access to our lake and other common areas located within our 80 acres.
