Great Family Rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was clean, great location less traffic. Love the view of the bay. The lay out is perfect for families. We will definitely be back. Could use a more outdoor seating, but not that big of a deal.

Quaint but needs updating and deep cleaning!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, LCR Resort Management folks are great to work with. This is in no way towards them. However, the first day there, the water to the house was cut off. We were told that a toilet needed to be fixed and the crew was coming to fix it the 1st full day there (we arrived at 12am the night before). Instead of cutting the water off to the toilet, they cut the entire house water off. Which meant we couldn’t shower, make coffee or tea, go to the bathroom, etc. when we woke up. Not a huge deal, everything was taken care of later in the morningThe bigger issue is the roaches. There were a lot. We told LCR about them and they came and sprayed. The roaches would die. But towards the end of our week, they were back, not just large palmetto bugs, but little roaches. The house is dated too. The master bed is not comfortable for two adults. AlThe washer/dryer were great. The hot water is HOT, like legitimately off the face of the sun, hot be careful. The coach at the TV in the Sun room is a comfortable as sitting on a brick on the left hand side, middle is fine. The ground level has a fly problem. There are spiders everywhere because of this. Especially on the back side of the ground level. The whole back of the center island where the mechanical room is is a giant spiderweb basically. Listen, I understand that the area is moist and there are palmetto bugs sometimes in houses, but this experience wasn’t just an occasional one. My family and I “took out” about 100 of them while we were there and awake. Outside of the house problems, we had a good time, my family enjoyed the time there and we made the best of it.

The dead end street made for some much needed quiet and overlooking Buccaneer Bay made for a peaceful and relaxing setting. Aside from having to wash the dishes before using them(many had food remnants left on them) we had an excellent time and ultimately would choose this rental again.

Views of the sunrise and sunset over the pond across the street that is home to lots of fish and wildlife. Lots parking at this rental as well.

The only complaint I have is that when we arrived the place wasn’t throughly cleaned. I had to mop the floor the day I arrived. The water I used was completely black when I dumped it out. There was trash in different places through the house and sand all over. Our stay was still a good experience. I just had to clean it the day we arrived.

The villa was pretty well stocked,it did lack a vacuum of any kind to pick up sand. The white wicker furniture was pretty shaky though, and we felt a recliner or 2 would be better for comfort to view the TV in living room. Overall we had a nice place for our stay.

Only thing that was off, there were cockroaches downstairs, so if you stay here make sure to keep your food cleaned up, I imagine they could make their way upstairs.
