Our vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was nice except for the bed in the back room. Needs a new mattress. And the black mold in both bathrooms up on ceiling. The parking was awful glad we took the car. No room for truck and golf cart. One neighbor mad sure there was no room.

The only recommendation for improvement is to replace the mattress in the master bedroom. We had to buy an air mattress at a local department store to get a good nights' sleep.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The process was user friendly, the office was available and friendly if you had any questions or needs. Our rental was clean, in a good location and perfect for our small family! Our daughter loved having her own room with bunk beds and a bathroom. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The property had tons of amenities and we appreciated that they were included with the rental unit! Only recommendations we had - The palmetto bugs were annoying, and we’d recommend for them to spray even more frequently to help combat those pesky bugs. Also, the bed in the master room was not comfortable at all, a thicker mattress or nice mattress topper would be great to improve this! Other than those two things, our visit was great!

Fun vacation at the beach!

Had everything that we needed for a fun filled week at the beach. The beds weren't the most comfortable but would still rent this place again. Only complaint I have is that the previous renters left food in oven and it was moldy. I assume they just forgot to throw out but the cleaners probably should have checked there. Remainder of place was overall clean. We rented a golf cart to be able to get around the whole place. Would definitely recommend doing that makes your time easier and it's fun to see the whole place.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Couldn't have asked for a better spot and we had everything we needed. We had a great trip, but to make sure expectations are set correctly... The entire house seemed smaller than others we've stayed in at Lakewood and generally low quality. Beds were uncomfortable and very noisy when turning (we kept waking each other up). Air conditioning did not circulate into there rooms - only the main area. It did maintain a comfortable temp as long as the bedroom doors were open, though. When we arrived, there was a pile of sand swept under the rug, but other than that seemed to be clean and tidy. To be honest, I didn't even read much about it when I booked - it was the last house left so I took it! I'm glad I did and would book it again if it's the last one, but I would probably choose a different house if there were other options left.
