Inside, an open floor plan and large windows make the water the focal point. Sweeping bay views can be enjoyed from the kitchen, dining area, living room, and primary bedroom suite.
Step onto the spacious waterfront deck for morning coffee as the bay comes to life. Later, relax with a glass of wine and watch boats drift by as the evening sky changes over the water.
In the backyard, grill dinner or settle into an Adirondack chair at the water’s edge—a peaceful spot to read, talk, or simply watch the tide and boats go by.

Closer to home, Bristol Town Beach and the sweeping waterfront grounds of Colt State Park are just steps away.
The 14.5-mile East Bay Bike Path is around the corner and offers a scenic ride through coastal communities between Bristol and Providence.
Nearby attractions include the Herreshoff Marine Museum, Linden Place, and Blithewold Mansion, Gardens & Arboretum.
For a day trip, Newport is approximately 16 miles away, with its famed mansions, beaches, museums, sailing, shopping, and exceptional dining.

BEFORE YOU BOOK
We want every guest to know what to expect and feel comfortable choosing The Cottage for their stay.
Waterfront Setting: The Cottage sits directly on Narragansett Bay. The waterfront edge is not fenced or guarded. The Property has a rocky coastal seawall with an approximately six-foot drop to the shoreline. There are seven granite steps to the shoreline and seven steps leading from the back deck to the yard. Children must be closely supervised by an adult at all times outdoors and may never be left unattended near the seawall, shoreline, or waterfront stairs. Guests traveling with children are responsible for determining whether the property’s waterfront setting is appropriate for their family.
Accessibility and Physical Features: There are three steps at the front entrance, an open staircase to the primary suite, seven steps from the back deck to the yard, and seven steps leading toward the shoreline. These features may present safety concerns for young children and may pose challenges for guests with limited mobility.
Peace & Quiet: The Cottage is located in a residential waterfront neighborhood. Quiet hours begin at 9:00 p.m., and parties and group gatherings are not permitted.
Seafood: Please do not cook seafood indoors. Seafood odors can linger and may be problematic for future guests with allergies or sensitivities.
Fire Safety: Fireworks and outdoor fires of any kind are not permitted.
Bicycles: Four adult Trek bicycles are available for guest use. Each rider must sign a waiver before use.
Your Hosts: The owners live next door and are available should you need assistance during your stay. Otherwise, we respect your privacy and want you to enjoy The Cottage as your own waterfront retreat.
By booking, guests acknowledge the waterfront conditions described above and agree to follow the property’s safety requirements and the terms of the Rental Agreement.
