The surrounding area is home to dozens of lakes and golf courses including Nagawicka Lake, Pewaukee Lake, Upper & Lower Nemahbin, and many more. Some of Wisconsin's best hiking can be found at Lapham Peak, a unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest Unit, which lies just two miles south of the property. The Lapham Peak Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest was formed 10,000 years ago when a glacier covered much of Wisconsin. Lapham Peak's glaciated topography provides excellent hiking, backpacking, and cross-country skiing.
