We chose Rosemead because it truly sits at the heart of the San Gabriel Valley. It offers the convenience of being close to everything—Los Angeles is just a short drive away, yet the neighborhood itself has a relaxed, suburban feel that’s perfect for putting down roots. We were drawn to the strong sense of community, the incredible cultural diversity, and the way everyday life here is enriched by some of the best dining, shopping, and local traditions in the region.
Step outside and you’ll find tree-lined residential streets where neighbors wave as they tend to their gardens or head out for an evening walk. Rosemead has a wonderfully grounded, welcoming energy. We love starting the weekend with a trip to a local Vietnamese or Chinese bakery for fresh pastries, then exploring the nearby parks—Zapopan Park and Garvey Park are favorites for family outings and weekend soccer games.
What we enjoy most is the neighborhood’s unbeatable convenience paired with its quiet charm. We’re minutes from the 10, 60, and 605 freeways, so commuting or exploring all of L.A. feels effortless. Yet at the end of the day, we come home to a peaceful street where the pace slows down. Whether it’s grabbing food with neighbors, celebrating cultural festivals at the local community center, or simply enjoying the golden San Gabriel Valley sunsets, Rosemead has given us a sense of belonging we’ve never found anywhere else.
