Makani Sands # 301 es una espaciosa casa adosada de 3 dormitorios y 2 1/2 baños en la esquina del tercer y cuarto piso, con una increíble vista del océano. Decorada en un estilo tradicional hawaiano, esta hermosa casa está equipada con 3 televisores por cable, VCR / DVD, reproductor de CD. Hay una cocina completa que incluye una estufa convencional y un microondas. Hay una gran mesa redonda de comedor para comidas familiares. Pase algunas noches en casa cocinando pescado fresco en nuestra barbacoa frente a la playa, o descanse y relájese y pase un día tomando el sol en el frente. Amazing views of the beach and ocean. So close to the surf it was like being in our own little cabana but with the option of the porch or right inside. 10-15 minutes walking from food/stores, most of thr beaches also within 15 minutes that we we t to. Lots of turles swimming our little cove, good snorkling or jiat bobbing in the surf. Would love to stay longer and if we get the chance to come back. Older condo, and it looks like DYI on some of the bathroom updates, but all functional, very clean, very comfortable and very reponsive supervisors. Stocked kitchen. Lots of towels. Extra blankets and pillows and air worked fine.

Family vacation

The place was amazing. The keys we were originally given were totally different keys once they got replaced. My only complaint is the person who cleans the cement at 6am every day. He uses a metal shovel to scrape sand up and move furniture around. Maybe change that to a later time?

The Perfect Place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family had a wonderful stay! Plenty of space for a large family and stocked with pretty much everything you’ll need. The condo itself is oceanfront and we enjoyed watching the sea turtles all day everyday. We were also able to see humpback whales from our balconies and that was dreamy! There’s a clean pool for fun down time and shops, grocery stores, coffee, and some restaurants are a short walk away. It was the perfect place for our family; you won’t regret it!

Great Location

Makani Sands is a well-maintained property located right on the beach but close to a variety of restaurants and shops and just down the road from the largest of the Lahaina area resorts. The property managers are considerate and professional and insured a comfortable stay for us. Our unit was clean, everything worked, and had a great view of the ocean where we watched the turtles swim by and whales breaching daily.

Beautiful, Convenient Location

What an absolutely beautiful location. We enjoyed watching the whales from the two lanais and hearing the ocean waves at night.Being a corner unit, we had more light and better views from the lanais. The building is conveniently located within walking distance to a beach park and coffee shops and restaurants.

Maui family vacation

Condo is in a great location with wonderful views of the ocean. Property manager was excellent. She made check in and check out easy. Pool area and ocean front deck were perfect for enjoying the sunshine. Condo had everything we needed but could use some updating.

The place is a great location, walking distance to so much. The view from the balcony’s are amazing. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Definitely, will recommend to friends and family and we will stay here again!

The views from the lanai were magnificent. We enjoyed snorkeling right off the property and saw several fish and even turtles swimming around. Although it didn’t have a sandy beach there are several options within a few minutes driving if you are looking for that. We would definitely stay here again.

Sea turtles daily

Great to look out on the water and see turtles playing in the surf! The condo was clean and the a/c worked well, but the place could be updated (a bit dingy) and there was an electrical glitch in one of the bedrooms. Overall, a wonderful vacation.

Oceanfront rental

Great Location ! Ocean about 15 yards away. Enjoyed the 3 bedroom ocean front rental. Close to coffee shops, cafes and walking distance to the food trucks. The turtles pass through the water in front of our condo and see them clearly from the lanai, snorkeled with the turtles in front of our condo. Apartment is a little dated but very comfortable. Manager Tammy and Debbie were responsive to our needs and allowed us a little later checkout at 12:30 pm. I feel it offers great value to a family like us with 6 adults Mahalo !

Family celebration in paradise!

Location and view are 10/10! Numerous turtles along the rocks by the sitting area made dreams come true for family members to see them in the wild. Condo was overdue for pest control, roaches in the kitchen were abundant. Property manager was very responsive and offered another unit but we chose to stay and use raid, didn't see anymore. Toilet broke, was addressed first thing next day. Appreciate the immediate responsiveness. It was hard to keep the 2 guest rooms cool, master was easy to cool. Appreciated the nice beach towels readily available. Overall, we loved the view and accommodation of Property manager, unit is over due for some TLC. Even in current condition it's still a nice unit I would recommend but understand it's not a shiny new modern condo.

We Love Makani Sands!

We are a family of six and this Makani Sands location was perfect for our trip to Maui. The views from both balconies were amazing. We loved the beach / sitting area. We were very close to other beaches and restaurants, but we also did a lot of cooking and used the grills one night. The place has everything we needed. Our kids loved the heated pool and spent hours in it. The snorkeling right off the property was quite good. And the other residents are really nice. My step son saw one of them fishing one night, chatted with him, and then was told he could use the fishing pole any time! Someone else gave him some bait. He was in heaven. Great place to stay. Highly recommend it!

Perfect location for our group!

Front row seats to watching the whales and turtles right from the oceanside decks! The unit was clean and well-stocked with sheets, fluffy towels, and household items. A few items need repair, but we were very comfortable and happy. Walk to coffee shop, farmers market, and fish market. Supermarket a mile away. The bedrooms facing the street are a little noisy in the morning (traffic, roosters), but we got used to it after the first night. It was a great homebase location for our activities and day trips. We would come back!

Loved our stay

We loved our stay at Makani Sands! Yes the unit is a bit dated but everything was great. Nice big lanais with beautiful views. Enough space for our 4 adults & 2 kids without feeling cramped. My kids loved the pool! Provided snorkel gear was a bonus too. Snorkeling right out back was awesome, lots of turtles! Would definitely stay again!

The place was very clean and very quiet. The stunning view was right on the ocean. I would leave the sliding door ajar as to fall asleep and wake up to the relaxing sound of the ocean and birds. This place has all the amnementies as well. Beach towels and bath towels for the whole family. Plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, full kitchen with all the plates, cups, and spices needed for cooking. Ice cube trays, dish washing soap and laundry detergents and fabric softener sheets as well. No need to pack all the extras! The decor was beautiful and beachy! I loved all the new upgrades! 2 and a half full bathrooms and great air conditioning worked well. A place I would definitely book again and again!
