Spend your vacation in this welcoming, super cute sunny cottage just a few houses up from La Jolla Boulevard and just a short walk two blocks to picturesque Windansea Beach. Gather at sunsets with the family and other beachgoers to submerge yourself in the joys of Windansea.

This spacious home comfortably sleeps six in beds and is also a great option for anyone who wishes to spend the winter months in a warmer climate in a beautiful seaside community. Walk up the serene tree-lined brick sidewalk of this home and when you open the door you will find yourself in a sunny great room with lots of large windows making it feel light bright and airy. The living room area has lots of comfortable cluster seating from which everyone can watch the large flat screen TV. A ceiling fan for your comfort is also a wonderful extra. Next to the living room is a desk space for remote working and a four-seat dining table with a kitchen breakfast bar for two. The nearby kitchen has everything you need to satisfy your culinary desires just add the food and camaraderie and have fun.

The primary queen bedroom also has a ceiling fan a large closet and an updated ensuite bath. Down the hallway the middle bedroom has two twin beds perfect for kids with the second queen bedroom featuring AC, a large closet and front of house views. The expansive private backyard features a large seating area for the whole family a firepit a large turf area for kids and pups to play and a lounge area with fruit trees for the picking.

There is also a second full shared bathroom off the hallway and all beds and bathrooms are furnished with an ample supply of premiere linens for your ultimate comfort.

This home is in an ideal location close to both the beach and all the shops museums and restaurants of La Jolla Village. This little slice of paradise never fails to delight with the shimmering Pacific and the ever-changing colors of the evening sky just two of the surprises that will enhance your stay on the beautiful Southern California coastline. We welcome you to create beautiful memories here and we are confident you will decide to return to experience all the magic again.

Place is beautiful, clean and in a great location. Check-in process is very smooth, this is our second time staying here and would stay again. It would be nice if they simplified the entire background check for repeat customers though.

The house was very nice to stay in and was in a great location. Kitchen had what we needed and was clean. Same for the bathrooms. We used the laundry and even though it was in the garage it was clean and worked out fine! Outside space was lovely to sit out and have your coffee :)

All you can ask for

Only negative would be navigating the TV situation, which was only important to my kids. However, after they stepped outside to my favorite beach in SD, no one cared about the TV. I wish I could move in tomorrow. Killer spot.

Good location

We had a very nice stay with our 3 kiddos. Was an easy walk to the beach and a quick ride to everything else. The house is kind of an older beach house but kept well. We loved to character of the place and it made us feel like locals.

Back Yard Relaxation

This house is located in a nice neighborhood within walking distance of a good restaurant, coffee shop, and the ocean. The furniture and bed were all comfortable. The totally enclosed back yard is wonderful - quiet, great seating, beautiful plants, and plenty of space. We liked that this house had a lot of windows and was nice & bright inside. It was a great place to stay for the two of us plus our dog.

Lovely property

We really enjoyed our time at this property. Walking distance to the beach and to restaurants. The Taco Stand was amazing and the Flower Pot Cafe had the best coffee we’ve ever had. Backyard was relaxing. There was a lot if construction close by but that us temporary.

Great stay!

We had a panic after a place we had rented was double booked. Barb was so great helping us out with this lovely house. We had 6 adults and the house easily accommodated us all. We loved being near the beach and the town. All in all it was a great stay.

Fun Windansea weekend

After looking at several properties, we picked this one, unfortunately on my part, I thought I had chosen a property near the Shores. Windansea was a surprise but turned out to be a nice area. Loved the back yard! So cozy, well maintained and perfect for the dogs. The house was very nice and had plenty of space for us and our three dogs. The only complaints were the throw rugs ( they moved around and were trip hazards) and the very high cost of each dog.
