Alquiler familiar; 4º de playa, 84 pasos a la arena; semanas de descuento disponibles

Gracias a todos, estamos reservados para el verano de 2019. La reserva para el verano 2020 comienza en octubre.

Casa duerme 8 en cuatro habitaciones y "porche para dormir". Casa para 4 personas en dos habitaciones. Descuento del 10% en la segunda semana.

Hay unidades de aire acondicionado en toda la casa y la casa de campo.

Disfrute de nuestra reconocida casa de la playa con batido de cedro de 1920, que cuenta con todas las comodidades modernas (Wi-Fi, unidades de ventanas con aire acondicionado, pantalla plana, lavaplatos, lavadora / secadora, ventiladores de techo en las habitaciones / cocina).

Estarás a 84 pasos de una playa vigilada. Somos la cuarta casa de la playa, a menos de 100 yardas. Además, la bahía está a una cuadra de distancia.

El registro es a las 2 pm el sábado y las 10 am el sábado.

Nuestra casa es ideal para familias, con un paseo de ida y vuelta de la playa para las necesidades del cuarto de baño y bocadillos. Para los niños que no están listos para nadar en el océano, la playa de la bahía está a pocas cuadras de distancia. Además, hay varias áreas de juego en el área.

Después de un día en la playa, disfrutar de una ducha exterior, antes de ir 2-3 bloques para "ciudad" para la cena.

Salón de helado, el mercado de delicatessen, tienda de licores y restaurantes están a poca distancia. Traiga su bicicleta y dar un paseo agradable al faro de Barnegat. La playa de Harvey Cedars Bay está a .6 millas de distancia y ofrece una playa protegida para los niños que no están listos para el océano.

La casa tiene 4 dormitorios y capacidad para 7 adultos. Hay un "porche para dormir" donde un 8vo huésped podría dormir.

Hay tres dormitorios en planta alta con un par de camas individuales en cada habitación. Hay un balcón en el master con asientos. Las camas se pueden separar o juntar para formar una cama Queen / King por una flexibilidad óptima en forma de dormir. En la planta baja hay otro dormitorio, con cama doble y baño y medio.

Además, el 'porche para dormir' tiene una cama de día. El porche para dormir no es un dormitorio.

Baños- completo arriba (con bañera) y la planta baja hay un baño medio. Hay una ducha al aire libre cerrado. No hay ducha interior.

La gran sala de estar tiene amplios asientos; dos sofás y cuatro sillas, Comcast- Wifi y por cable, TV de pantalla plana, equipo de música, DVD y reproductor de CD.

Hay un filtro en el porche delantero con un sofá y 3 sillas.

La cocina totalmente equipada en preparar una comida maravillosa familia. Cocina eléctrica / estufa, lavavajillas, lavadora, secadora, tostadora, cafetera, microondas, nevera. Se proporcionan Ollas, sartenes, platos y utensilios.

Afuera hay un porche y patio con parrilla y áreas de descanso, incluyendo una mesa de picnic.

El chalet está situado detrás de la casa principal y tiene un adicional de dos dormitorios con capacidad para 3 personas cómodamente, y tiene una cama nido para un cuarto de huéspedes. Ideal para los suegros, amigos o abuelos. La casa tiene su propia cocina y cuarto de baño con bañera. Hay una ducha al aire libre cerrado. No hay ducha interior.

Harvey Cedars es un pueblo de playa familiar, situado en la parte norte de la isla de Long Beach, una isla con las playas más hermosas de la costa de Jersey. La playa es amplia e inmaculada vigilada destaca cada 3 bloques (incluyendo uno en nuestra calle).

Cozy beach home!

Just loved this "gem" of a property! The perfect beach house! Tons of charge, cozy surroundings and adorable detail. The walk to the beach was super convenient and loved having the lifeguard on the beach! We really enjoyed the stay with our family and hope to make it an annual tradition🙂. Great memories!

Fabulous Beach House

I grew up going to the NJ shore. After moving to another state as an adult, I wanted my family to experience my favorite memories growing up. I found this beach house and immediately fell in love. The house is very roomy and can accommodate a big group. There are areas to sit, read or play a game. Taking a nap in the sun-room, is a favorite with many of my family members. There is a two story apartment at the back of the property, which makes for a nice vacation with extended family. The beautiful Harvey Cedars beach is just at the end of the street, and over the dune. It's great to be able to walk back to the house for a quick lunch or snack or a bathroom break. The beach is private and requires a daily/seasonal pass, and there are Life Guards on duty daily. The island itself, has a Lighthouse you can climb, beautiful dunes to hike, lovely shops and restaurants and plenty of opportunities to go biking. This beach house, is located at the Northern end of the island . A short drive down to the southern end offers miniature golf, a watermark, amusement park and lots of kid friendly activities, I can't say enough about this wonderful house, my family has enjoyed vacationing here and making our own wonderful memories at the Jersey shore.

So relaxing

For the third year in a row we stayed at 5E84, definitely will be back for fourth next year. Great place to go to get away. Easy beach access. Short walk to restaurants, ice cream, bagel and coffee shop. Great house for kids. Lighthouse was a short drive. Beach is wide and uncrowded, waves were great for kids to surf on. Short walk for wonderful sunsets over the bay and beautiful moonrises from the top of the dune. We grilled and at outside at the picnic tables almost every night. Tom was great.

Perfect location, charming home

We had a great week at the Sea Foam!! The location is absolutely perfect. Close to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. The house was very clean, spacious, and full of charm. We loved learning about its history. Great space for families, we have a small toddler and she felt right at home (proximity to the beach for naps and snacks was key). Tom was especially attentive and made sure we had a great stay. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again in the future.

Family time at the beach

We absolutely LOVED staying here. The house was full of character and everyone in our group seemed to find their own favorite spot. So close to the beach which made it very convenient. We were there early in the season so we pretty much had the beach to ourselves. Plenty of room for the 12 of us. We loved being within walking distance to the ice cream parlour which we frequented many times during the week. Having Neptunes market close by was great if we needed any grocery items. We would absolutely stay here again and Tom was a great host.

So close to everything!!!

The house is in the perfect location. We are steps from the ocean and the bay is just a short walk away. The ice cream parlour, which we got a gift certificate as a welcoming package, was just a quick walk away, along with the Plantation, Harvey Cedars Shellfish and Black Eyed Susan's. There is also Neptune Market and 1690 Market were great for lunch and breakfast. The house had everything we needed. Loved being on the ground floor for the kids to come and go. Only needed AC for a couple days, enjoyed cool ocean breezes for most of the week. Loved lounging in the Adirondack chairs after sun filled days of surf and sand.

Great time!!!

House was great and fit 6 adults and 6 children. Two per bedroom, not like some beaches house that claim to sleep 12, with 4 in two rooms and 4 on couches. Tom was very friendly. Fantastic location being so close to the ocean. I will definitely rent this house in 2019.

Magical time for kids

What a magical for the grandkids. We enjoyed every moment with our family. Short walk to the beach. The house is very nice, classic beach house. The weather was awesome, so no need for indoor games, but TV and board games were available. Once back at the house we chilled, enjoyed relaxing and the local seafood. I am looking forward to our next trip.

Relaxation

My mom and dad were looking for an older house in Harvey Cedars for a family reunion/vacation. We needed enough rooms for my family of 4, my sister's family of 6, that was priced right, clean and comfortable, with some updates, and some features to remind us of LBI back in the day. Most importantly we wanted a SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH with many crowds. We felt "at home". We could get to both sides of the island so easily. Both the bayside and the beach in this area is second to none on LBI. We loved fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking in the bay, which brought back many memories, and still has the quaint, peacefulness as it used to have. The beach was wide and uncrowded and the access path was just a few steps away. We had a wonderful time. Tom, the property manager, was great. He answered all our many questions and checking in and out was a breeze. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful time

The house was lovely. Beach is so close- fourth house to the beach. Amenities just a short walk- pizza, icre cream, coffee, bagels, sandwiches. Small, but wonderful deck that you can watch the moonrise over the ocean Property manager was very helpful. Recommend using PeaPod as they will deliver. We had a great week. Make sure to visit the lighthouse in Barnegat Light. Thank you!

Loved it

Our LBI vacation this year was awesome! We stayed the 4th of July week and there were little to no crowds. We have been to LBI many times and loved Harvey Cedars and this house. The house is quaint and charming. It has all you would need for a great family vacation. The property manager was great- rental process and check-in/out was a breeze. Being so close to the beach made it easy to go back and forth for lunch or a break from the sun and sand. Weather was great. There was 10 of in all, my sister, her husband and two kids, our parents, and my family of four. My parents loved the cottage.

Great Location!

Our return to Seafoam was wonderful. We love the charm of this Historic Gem on a very quiet street. We have a large group that spreads out over both the main house and cabin. We never feel crowded, as there are lots of little hang out spaces. Tom the house manager is great and quick to respond. We have been going to LBI for 40 years and Seafoam is our new home. We are looking forward to our return in 2018. Let the tradition continue!

Great vacation home!

The location was fabulous- a few steps from the ocean! When we arrived we found the house (and cottage) to be clean and very well equipped. There was adequate space. Our daughter, husband and grandson stayed in the "cottage" and we stayed in house - it worked out perfectly! I have family who live year round in HC and they thought house was fabulous when visited us! Listing description was accurate, and the owner provided great service. I would recommend this property to anyone! There are plenty of "things" to do but since we have so much family in HC , we spent most of our time with them

These are two charming seaside cottages

These two cottages were absolutely charming and perfect for our family, and just steps from the beach. Each kitchen was very well-stocked with everything you could need to prepare family meals, and within walking distance from restaurants, ice cream parlor, and liquor store. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Seafoam; we plan to return soon.

Lovely, quaint "Nantucket style" cottage!!!

This rental property reminded me of being in Nantucket but without the cost!!! There are very few properties on LBI for rent that have retained their vintage charm like this property. Lovely cottage inside and out with lots of nooks and crannies to get away and be by yourself or hang out with everyone in the large living room or kitchen. Can't wait to rent this again!!! We were a family of 7 and were always able to find our own spot to run away and "hide."

Quiet and Cozy Family Home on the Jersey Shore

Sea Foam is a real historic treasure in the family-oriented section of the Jersey Shore. The street the house is on is very quiet with very little traffic. The island is narrow in this section so we were able to walk both to the beach (during the day) or bay (for sunset) within a few minutes. In 2017 we brought our Stand Up Paddleboards and spent some time exploring the bay near the Harvey Cedars Marina. In 2018 we are going to try and find a place to go up near the lighthouse. SeaFoam has numerous places to lounge, relax with a good book or visit with family/friends. A favorite spot of ours to all be together is at the big table in the kitchen. Also, everyone in our group loved taking showers in the outdoor shower. We are still trying to recreate that feel in our own homes! The house manager, Tom, was quick to respond to all our questions and everything was exactly as described on the website. We have already booked and are looking forward to our trip in 2018!

My favorite getaway on the Jersey Shore

Cottage gem!

What a gem! Hidden among the modern behemoths. This cottage feels cozy but has plenty of roomy places to congregate, as well as nooks to get lost in a good book. Big, open kitchen is perfect for cooks, and the giant table welcomes a feast! Hard to believe that the place is nearly 100 years old, as it is incredibly well-cared. Great location so close to the beach!

Another fabulous time at Sea Foam!

My family and I returned to Sea Foam this year for another year at this cute beach cottage. We have been there numerous times over the past 15 years and we are never disappointed. We love the cozy feel of the house and all the places for people to congregate or just be on their own. One of the great things about the house is that it's on a very quiet street. We hardly saw any other neighbors and often felt like we had the street and beach access to ourselves. Our typical day this trip looked something like this: -Get up early and enjoy coffee outside in one of the Adirondack chairs or a walk up to the bench at the top of the dunes to get a view of the ocean. -In the late morning we drove over to the Bay Beach off 75th street to give the younger kids a chance to swim and splash in the calmer water of the Bay. -We went back to the house around noon for lunch and a little quiet time for all - my favorite spot was the sun porch to read my book :) -The afternoons we spent enjoying the beautiful beach! The best part is because it's so close to the house, we were able to go back and forth as needed for snacks, bathroom, etc, without it taking too much time. -Every evening we cooked at home and ate outside at the picnic table under the upper deck. All in all, it was a great week filled with so many memories of all the fun we had at Sea Foam! We are already looking forward to next year's adventures :)

Exactly what we wanted

My siblings and I have been going to LBI for 40 years. After decades in the same house and location, we were looking to start a new tradition after our fathers passing. The house and cabin were as charming as can be. Although the pictures can make the space look small, it is much more open and roomy than expected. We were very pleased with the living room and porch space. And even the living space in the cabin was comfy. We had a larger group but everyone was able to find their place, with lots of little outdoor space as well. The location to the beach is spectacular. It is a one min, walk till you feet hit the sand. The beach is always beautiful in LBI and of course did not disappoint. It was a big change for my family but everyone enjoyed this charming historic gem. We would definitely love to return next year.

Great family stay!

Our family of 9 (2 grand parents, 3 adults, 4 kids) had a great stay here at the end of July. The proximity to the beach is amazing! The house is literally steps from the beach access, with a very short walk over the dune to the actual beach. The walk is so short that our young children never even complained about having to walk back to the house for the bathroom or something we forgot. We loved the beach, which has a lifeguard, but beware that there is somewhat of a shore break at high tide, so the water can be rough, but at low tide, the water is amazing. The beach always had others on it, but never felt crowded. In the evenings you could sit on the beach and enjoy the waves and the moonlight uninterrupted. The house was clean and functional as described. The outdoor shower was essential and has a convenient clothesline. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom, the children in the upstairs room, my brother downstairs and my parents in the cottage. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the washer and dryer worked well. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was great! We never needed the downstairs air because of the sea breeze. Enjoyed dinners out at The Plantation and The Shellfish Company. Had two great excursions: one with Island Surf and Sail and one with Bill Surf and Tackle. We would definitely consider staying here again!

The beach house has been in our family for four generations. My wife's grandparents bought the house in the 1960's. I have been coming here since 1999.

We have been renting since the 1980's. We joined VRBO in 2013. We respond quickly to email requests about dates and to answer questions about the house.

This property is the perfect spot for a quiet family beach vacation. I have enjoyed watching my children playing in the sand and swimming in the ocean. Many cherished family memories have been made at 5E84. We are four blocks from town. About 2/10 of a mile from town, easy walk to restaurants, liquor store, shopping, convenient store, town hall, ice cream parlor. The bay beach, perfect for children who can’t swim or are not big enough for the ocean is a half of mile away.The house sleeps 7. Upstairs there are three bedrooms with two twin beds in each. Rooms are cozy and each has an AC and ceiling fan. Downstairs there is a single twin bed off the kitchen with an attached half bath. In addition to the seven beds in bedrooms, there is what we call the sleeping porch. It is not a bedroom, but does have a day bed where someone could sleep.

While in a quiet neighborhood, our location offers the proximity to many activities families can enjoy: bay beach, mini golf, fishing charters, amusement park, playgrounds, shopping, golf, etc.The house is a 1920’s cedar shake bungalow recognized by the Long Beach Island Historic Preservation Committee as a Historical Site. We are the 4th house from the beach on the ocean side of the boulevard. The bay is a short walk to the end of street. There are six beach badges included. Wifi is through Comcast. Two outdoor showers, two indoor bath tubs, but no indoor shower.
There is a Dishwasher, Washer/dryer, Two clotheslines, Propane grill and charcoal grill. We provide propane, but not charcoal. There is parking for 5 cars
