Beach and gulf view was awesome. Location was great. Parking was confusing. Elevator was intermittently not working. Pillows/ pillowcases were not clean in master bedroom. But I brought my own pillow. The lock was difficult to open. I never figured it out but my kids did. The couches were not let out couches. But we were able to sleep 12 in the unit comfortably.

Our stay was great and the view was wonderful but there was one big issue that caused problems. Our door was broken and it took about 2hrs after our check-in time to actually get into our room on the first day. I had to talk to multiple people on the phone who kept telling me to put the passcode in and then open the door well that part worked fine it was the knob itself that was locked. you could tell it had been replaced (it didn't look like any of the other doors). Well maintenance finally came out and said yep your right and got spare keys for us to use. Jump to check out day and we wanted to take some pictures before we left and accidently closed the door behind us and didnt have the keys nor did I have my phone which had our account so I could call them. We had to call on another phone and wait for a locksmith to come out and open our door. They never should have given that room to anyone if it was having problems with the lock but other than that we really liked the place and loved the balcony.

This Perdido Dunes Gulf front Condo was not worth the stay. The condo itself did have a nice view and It was mostly clean, however, The pool was so small (we were not able to get in because there were always a few others that made it too full to enjoy) and just not great compared to the others surrounding. The elevator was ALWAYS throwing fits. We were on the 10th floor and had to go up and down 180 stairs quite frequently. The toaster was non-working. THE DOOR! Don’t get me started on thedoor. I do not know how many times we had come back up to our condo with the door opening by just pushing on it. You MUST turn the lock, Every. Time. We slept with a dining chair lodged under the door, because it just wasn’t secure. Being surrounded by other resorts with big fun pools for the kids was a bummer. The board walk to the beach was one of the few not lit at night. The Parking was HORRENDOUS, just so tight. if we had someone in the spot next to us, we would not have been able to park our SUV. For the steep price we had to pay for this condo, (2 times more than others we looked at with better amenities) it just was not worth it. I should note that any communication with host was quick. We did end up leaving a day early. Would not stay here, nor recommend.

Beautiful condo

My family of 8 fit very comfortably. Loved the wrap around balcony with no obstruction of the gulf. Very clean and just perfect! Be sure you get a parking pass to hang in your car otherwise they said you’ll get a boot.

Family and friend vacation

Overall stay was good. Balcony was perfect view of the beach and ocean. The kitchen could definitely use some necessities added. We were able to get early check in. Parking is tight and if bringing a second car there is limited spots. Location is near a lot of good restaurants and stores. Cleanliness we were very disappointed. The first evening before even hitting the beach I was giving our daughter a bath and I could tell the rugs were not washed. I went to pick it up and a ton of sand fell off of it. All the bathroom rugs were like this. There was marks and stains all over the walls. The baseboards were all dusty and marked up as well. The freeze door constantly gets jammed up and the bedroom we were staying in the door didn’t close right. As stated in a few other reviews the front door lock is tricky. I feel like for the price we paid most of these issues could be fixed.

Family Spring Break

We had a great time spending our spring break at the beach! Our extended family joined us for the weekend, and we had enough beds and bathrooms for our group of 13 for the first half. The kitchen worked great for cooking family meals and there was enough storage for our groceries (and lots of snacks ). We loved the views of the ocean from the unit. The unit had nice spaces for us to play games and watch movies. It was great to have a reserved parking spot so close to the boardwalk to the beach. We kept all beach things in the car which made it easy for getting to and from the beach. Because the condo is a lower occupancy, it was relatively quiet and peaceful. We only had a few negatives, VRBO listing said there were two parking passes but one is a visitor spot that is very limited. Communication with the property was delayed through VRBO and then when we communicated through Vacasa in the days before booking the chat wasn’t very welcoming. Other communication through texting was fine though. As others have said, the lock was finicky.
