Old West Cabin at Lassen Volcanic National Park with sauna and workout/yoga room
Serene Mountain Cabin Retreat Near Lassen Volcanic National Park
Unwind in this rustic‑contemporary cabin retreat nestled near Lassen Volcanic National Park, where nature, comfort, and wellness come together. Thoughtfully designed for relaxation and adventure alike, this cabin is the perfect escape for couples, families, or friends seeking a restorative mountain getaway.
After a day exploring the outdoors, soothe your senses in the private sauna, enjoy a long soak in the classic clawfoot bathtub, or recharge in the dedicated wellness room. Designed for both mindfulness and movement, the space is ideal for yoga, stretching, or strength training, and is equipped with yoga mats, dumbbells and a workout bench for guests who like to stay active while away.
The cabin sleeps up to six guests comfortably, with two bedrooms featuring queen beds and a third bedroom with two Twin XL beds—perfect for kids or extra guests. The newly renovated bathroom features a modern walk‑in shower, blending contemporary convenience with cozy cabin charm.
At the heart of the home is a fully-equipped kitchen designed for cooking and gathering. Enjoy preparing meals with new stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and everything you need to cook comfortably—whether you’re making a hearty breakfast before a hike or a relaxed dinner after a day of adventure. We offer everything you need from a crock pot for chili and a gas BBQ grill for burgers.
Upstairs, the loft offers a second living area to relax and watch TV. Our televisions are ready for you to log in to your favorite streaming services to watch a movie or your favorite sport. The loft also offers a large table, perfect for putting together one of the many puzzles, or playing a board game. If needed, use the desk to catch up on some work, while enjoying a view of the living room below or out the roofline window. The home has superfast satellite wifi to keep up with all your connectivity needs.
Seasonal experiences await right outside your door. In winter, we offer the use of our snowshoes and toboggans, with nearby snowmobile parks offering even more cold‑weather fun. When summer arrives, the area transforms into an outdoor playground with fishing, hiking, and rock climbing available both inside and outside the National Park. If you can transport them, we are also happy to offer the use of our two kayaks and highly recommend paddling on Manzanita Lake, just inside the National Park.
Whether you’re seeking peaceful mornings among the pines, energizing days outdoors, or cozy evenings at home, this cabin offers a truly memorable mountain escape—any time of year.
