Sailing es una cabaña de dos dormitorios con planta inversa ubicada en el centro de todas las comodidades de la isla. Ambas habitaciones tienen acceso a porches frente al mar. La sala de estar, la cocina y el comedor están en la planta superior y ofrecen vistas excepcionales del océano Atlántico.

BHI stay

We unfortunately didn’t have great weather, it was unusually cold and rainy however the house was really cozy and in such a wonderful location it was still a great break for me. I come to BHI 1-2 times per year and will likely try to stay in this home again. BHI services team are super kind and welcoming 😊

Wonderful Getaway

This is my second time at this location. It is absolutely perfect. It has beautiful views snd so cozy and comfortable. I will definitely rent at this location again.

Wonderful peaceful weekend

Wonderful house with a beautiful view and just steps from the beach - very clean and it was just the right size for us - only thing that I would suggest is a bigger bed in the master as there is room for a queen and that would have been better for a couple sleeping than a full bed. The location was perfect and we really enjoyed the island and the golf cart :O)

Weeklong Family Vacation

The location of the property was very convenient to quickly access the beach with our 2 dogs and twin 5 year old boys. Made it very easy to run back and forth to the beach for lunch, etc. Also nice to be on the center part of the island close to the Maritime Market. The beach nourishment project has left a very spacious and uncrowded beach for enjoyment. Wonderful views from the 2nd story. Would strongly recommend and stay there again.

Dog friendly and great location/view

Loved staying there. Great view, great screen porch with fabulous breeze, fenced in area for dog to go out (but wish it was totally closed in). However my dog is not adventurous so it didn’t really matter but could for some. A bit a trellis could correct that situation. Will be returning in September

Summer vacation

This has been the 2 nd time we rented this unit and again it was a memorable experience. Love the upgrades from last year - bathrooms and golf cart!!!! Maybe address the screen in porch with paint and new chairs next ?year????

Peace and quiet

Sailing was on a great location. Clean and well stocked Oceanfront view from upper deck The beach was easy to access No problems with the property. Gas grill would have been nice Charcoal one available Would definitely stay again !! Only 1 bike but you can rent them on the island

Really great home

We have been to BHI about 15 times and this is our new favorite spot! The house is really comfortable and you can see the ocean from every room. Since we were there over Thanksgiving, none of the homes surrounding Saliing were occupied, so we had a lot of privacy. As a family of four, this was a perfect size for us an our young boys. The deck off of the living room affords a perfect view of the ocean. Beds were comfortable, and the screened in porch would be great in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoors without the bugs. Our dog loved being along as well. Just a lovely place. Thanks for having us!

The Perfect Beach House

Sailing offered such a unique, charming and beautiful housing experience while my wife, dogs and I were at Bald Head this last weekend. With ocean views out of half the windows and palm trees views out of the others, the outside experience was always present, even while we were inside. The balcony offered unbeatable panoramas of the Atlantic and sunsets. The screened in porch below offers a comfortable outdoor living space. The golf cart and bikes provided hours of entertainment for us. We've already made plans to come back to Sailing and can't wait!

Wonderful On-The-Beach Location

We really enjoyed our stay at Sailing in Flora's Bluff this month. We got a great deal, got to bring the dog, our host was very wonderful and even though we had one day of bad weather, we had an amazing time. We will certainly be coming back!! If I had one negative, it would be that the beds were a little small in both rooms, but we weren't in them long enough for that to really be a complaint. Everyone on the island is gracious and accommodating. Truly, we were a little worried about the logistics of getting to the ferry, parking, getting to the rental - but they are all a well-oiled machine. We're coming back, and recruiting others.

Kitchen is very limited in cookware. Cleaning crew needed to vacuum floors (sandy floors) and empty coffee pot. One set of porch furniture was broken (black wicker furniture). Should be discarded. Great location, view, and beach access.

Great location! Nice home w/ only minor improvements needed

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Several little notes come to mind regarding our stay: 1. Blinds in the home were messed up. Several didn't twist to open or were broken in various places. 2. Golf cart broken and replacement had weird quirks - a broken blinker handle, occasional beeping noises, very inconsistent acceleration or braking. 3. I understand there was a hurricane recently, so some grace here, but just so you are aware, there was a great deal of water in and around the front steps. it made the trash cans innaccessible for a bit as well as something to dodge getting in/out of the house. Also some items in the garage were covered in mud/mulch. 4. i know it was the weekend that all local shops and restaurants flipped to their off-season hours. it would be helpful to have a more updated list of restaurants or expectations of what is open which days. 5. master shower pan felt like it had water damage underneath of it. the floor was squooshy when showering.

Great location for a couple's getaway

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was our first visit to Bald Head Island. We liked direct access to the beach from the house and the view of the beach and water from the top floor. We loved the location for exploring various parts of the island by golf cart. We liked the inverted house plan with the bedrooms on the ground floor and the living space upstairs. The house was very clean. The kitchen bar stools were unusable (too high - the legs need to be cut down by 6 inches). Kitchen supplies were ok - there were some spices, and other dry goods from prior guests (which is always nice), and starter supplies like a roll of paper towels and a small bottle of dish soap. Cookware was ok - enough to make due. It lacked a good sized bowl - for tossing a salad or for popcorn. The beds were just ok - one had somewhat of a depression in the middle; the other was very squeaky - any movement made a good bit of noise. There were beach towels and at least two of the beach chairs were functional (another two were broken). The golf cart is in good condition. I nearly missed critical communications from the property manager as they did not use the VRBO messaging system, which is what I was looking for. Fortunately, I caught the messages in my secondary email account before it was too late. They were very responsive and professional once I connected with them. We would definitely consider staying here again. 4.5 stars overall.

GREAT BALD HEAD ISLAND TRIP BEFORE THE HOLIDAYS

We really enjoyed our visit to 7 Scotch Bonnet! Very nice neighborhood and best sunset views ever!The home had everything we could want and the golf cart was amazing - driving around the island was a lot of fun.Thanks for sharing your home with us.
