This lovingly furnished, detached single-family home with a thatched roof is located on a quiet side street lined with idyllic thatched-roof houses in Borgsum. Your vacation home spans two floors and features a garden of nearly 1,000 m². Bring the whole family!
Up to 8 adults and 2 children up to age 14 can comfortably enjoy their dream vacation here.
Look forward to a vacation home of approximately 150 m² spread over two floors, featuring 4 bedrooms and 1 children’s bedroom for 2 children. You enter the house through a large hallway with plenty of storage space. A bedroom with a double bed is located on the first floor, adjacent to a shower room. The spacious living-dining area, approximately 50 m², features a large picture window, a reading nook, and a wood-burning stove, providing plenty of space for social gatherings and cozy moments. The upper floor features 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The island village of Borgsum offers a local bakery and two nice restaurants, a bike rental shop, the historic mill, and a bus stop—all just a few minutes away. The beach is easily accessible in 5 minutes by bike. A very nice playground, complete with a volleyball court and a small soccer field, is located near the vacation home. Borgsum is in a very rural setting but occupies a central location on the island. You can enjoy a beautiful view across the marsh from Lembecksburg (ring wall). You’ll find a beach doctor, dentist, shopping, and additional cafes and restaurants in the island town of Nieblum, about 2 km away.

Ideal for vacations with grandparents—one bedroom with a double bed and an adjoining shower room is located on the first floor.
5 bedrooms: 4 bedrooms with double beds (3 of which have LED TVs), 1 children’s bedroom adjacent to a bathroom, and a master bedroom.
3 bathrooms: 2 shower rooms and 1 bathroom with a tub.
Separate, private family area on the upper floor, master bedroom with a sofa area and TV, en-suite bathroom with a tub, and an adjoining children’s bedroom for 2 children up to about 12–14 years old.
Holiday home amenities:
Dishwasher, oven, and 4 stovetop burners, coffee maker, electric kettle, clothes drying rack, iron, medicine cabinet, first aid kit, washer and dryer in the utility room, parking on the property for 4 cars. For our youngest guests, we are happy to provide a high chair and a travel crib (for an additional fee).
Wi-Fi (no guarantee in case of technical issues with internet access), 4 flat-screen satellite TVs, radio/CD player, and the cozy fireplace are all available for your use.
