Just 20 minutes from the accommodation, you can take the Porsche Design gondola to the Schmitten ski area in winter. Both beginners and families with children get their money's worth on the quiet slopes near the Niedernsill lifts. Here you will find a beginner's lift with a length of about 300 m and a drag lift with a length of about 600 m. By car, you can also easily reach the ski areas of Zell am See-Kaprun and the Kitzbühel Alps.

The recreational lake in Niedernsill brings wonderful cooling on hot summer days. Between Piesendorf and Niedernsill, hikers can explore the impressive cultural landscape trail. From here you also have a wonderful view of the Salzach valley!
