Was perfect for our family. Would suggest bringing a way to babyproof the front door because it is just a pull down handle to get out. We love staying in Beachwalk and this is our second rental there.

Great Rental

Where to start. The unit was clean. Everything that a family would need for a week at the beach. The kitchen was well stocked for any cooking that one would like to do. A short walk to the best beach. A bike ride from about anywhere on the island.

Although the location and the "bones" of this condo are great, the wear and tear are not. The carpet in the rooms are very worn and dirty. With a little TLC this place would get a higher rating from me.

All in all great weekend getaway for the family even though weather tried to ruin it. Only problem was canme home feom Dinner Saturday night and had no place to park, because what i thought should be the condos designated parking spot had a vehicle in it.

Nice condo and great value

The Beachwalk community is situated at the edge of the Shipyard Plantation. This is a fantastic central location with only a short walk or bike to the beach and boasting a very clean pool and quiet surroundings. There are literally miles of bike paths and sandy beach only steps away. 170 Beachwalk itself is very roomy, has a fairly private treed deck with golf course views, a well-appointed kitchen, and comfortable furnishings. Take note that this unit lacks some amenities that you might be expecting (such as beach towels, enough beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, etc), but otherwise is perfect for a family or friends vacation on beautiful Hilton Head Island.

Outstanding kitchen!

This unit has the best kitchen I've ever experienced in a vacation rental! Beachwalk is a wonderful location within Shipyard and we have been very happy staying there. Beachwalk 170 worked great for us as it is all on one level and a member of our group has somewhat limited mobility. There are six stairs to enter the unit, but that did not present a significant problem for our particular situation. We enjoyed that the deck looks out over the lagoon and golf course as opposed to facing other units in Beachwalk. Beds were comfy. Unit was clean upon arrival. There was a strong unpleasant odor in the unit when we first got there that seemed to be from some kind of cleaner or disinfectant, but it lessened with time. Overall great stay! Would definitely rent again.

not as expected

the property had many items in need of repair, front steps, garbage disposal, ceiling fan in master bedroom, 2nd bath tub/shower faucet, tile flooring was popping in spots when walked upon. part of the abutting condo was under construction repair, construction noise, we left the property early.

Great house

I read the reviews on this house and felt comfortable renting this for 5 nights. The reviews were accurate. I would stay here again. I had questions before reserving the house and the response was very quick. So close to a shared pool and a very short walk to beach, probably 10 minute walk. The grandkids enjoyed being so close to the beach and pool. We felt very secure here and it was a very quiet area. We had 6 people and had plenty of seating and lots of room for everyone to have space to unwind. The deck was enjoyable, a small lagoon was behind the deck and my husband enjoyed watching the golfers hit the Trees on the other side of lagoon. The kitchen was very well stocked and included a coffee pot and Keurig. I cooked a lot of meals there and it was awesome having the cookware and utensils that I needed. I definitely would reserve this home again. Vacasa was very helpful and quick in responding to questions.

Lot's of Room, but Not safe or comfortable

The stairs to enter and exit the property are unsafe. They tilt to the side and forward or backwards depending on which way you're coming or going. The furniture and beds were uncomfortable. TV had a big white spot so you couldn't see the picture if you were sitting to the side. The worst part were the chiggers that were coming in through a gap in the window due to the property not being well maintained on the outside. My son took a nap on the sofa and work up to a line of these bugs going up his arm and bites all over. We tried to contact property management, but no one came to check or help us. We couldn't use the deck because of these bugs all over and it wasn't maintained/safe.

Nice place! Clean and close to beach. We have stayed in other Beachwalk townhouses and this was a good one. When sitting on the deck, you are not looking at another townhouses. Kitchen outfitted nice, so you don't have to go out every night

Great condo-close to the beach

This was a really nice little condo! Would definitely rent again. The only thing to keep in mind is the guest rules. My Dad lives in Bluffton and getting him a pass to visit for the day was impossible. We had to meet him out or drive to get him and bring him in to the development. Other than that, we loved it!

Roomy 2 bedroom close to the beach

This condo is close to the beach with a 0.5 mile walk from the door to the beach. It has everything you need. The kitchen is fully outfitted. The deck is private, facing a lagoon with the golf course beyond the lagoon. The king bed is so comfy.

Great location for a wedding at sonesta beach

The property was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you need. It could have used some extra towels - you get 2 per person. The window treatments and bedding were a little tired. Other than that, it was a great unit for 4 adults.
