The Space:

Get lost in paradise with a stay at this island getaway just a short walk from the sand. The open floorplan will make entertaining a breeze and the screened-in porch is ideal for enjoying your favorite vacation meals. Time outside will be well-spent, as you can choose from the beach, golf, or tennis! No one will be bored while staying at this island retreat. When everyone is tuckered out and the night is coming to a close, toss your clothes into the new washer and dryer, pop some popcorn, and gather around the TV for a movie night. Afterward, retire for the evening to one of the bedrooms, all of which have had their mattresses replaced and upgraded for your comfort.



Perched inside of Sea Pines, this location is in the heart of what makes Hilton Head Island famous. Just a short drive away is Harbour Town where you can shop, dine, and check out the lighthouse! In the same area is Harbour Town Links, a pristine golf course that is known for hosting the RBC Heritage golf tournament. A little closer to your front door is Heron Point Golf Course and Sea Pines Beach Club where you can eat some fresh seafood or take a look inside the local surf shop.

Great vacation!! Great house!

We had an amazing vacation in this home. Perfect for a family of 6 with adult children. Proximity to the beach was amazing! House was spotless upon arrival. Decor is a little dated but so spacious and perfect for a family. Loved it! We will be back!

Great location right on beach access. 4 en-suite bedrooms a big plus since we have teen age grandchildren who travel with us. Beds are comfortable. House could use a deep clean and some of the furniture needs to be updated.

Nice location and floor plan

The floor plan was perfect for our family of 5 adults and two toddlers. No stairs. The location was also wonderful with easy beach access in Sea Pines.

We agree it was a little dated, but it fit our needs for enough space. Our one complaint was that there weren't any beach towels (or extra towels). We picked this place due to its proximity to the beach (which was great), so we had to go to Walmart and buy towels.

Great trip for a long weekend in Sea Pines

Really loved the location and the 4BR/4BA combo of the home in Sea Pines - very convenient to beach and Sea Pines resort. Could definitely use some updates with the decor and furniture. Notified Vacasa after we left that we did notice water damage in 1 of the bathrooms (ceiling and wall).

Great area to stay for golf and close beach access.

Great spot!! The only negatives were some of the dishes were dirty along with the floor. If you have anything bigger than a civic you will only be able to fit 3 cars in the driveway not 4. Overall it was a great place to stay for the week. Would for sure go back.

The house was the perfect size. We loved the fact that everyone had their own bathroom. It was a short walk to the beach and most of the shopping was a sudden six minute drive away. The only thing that was missing was a pool. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in Hilton Head. Also the beach was never crowded.

Great Place for a Great Time

The house we stayed in was perfect for our getaway. It was close to the beach, and spacious for our guests. The bedrooms were perfect set up and with one bedroom having an attached screened in porch that was very relaxing. All the surrounding area was supreme for walks, bike rides, and good proximity to other areas of Sea Pines to give privacy yet convenience. Sea Pines is my favorite Plantation on the Island. Parking was a little cramped and we will bundle up riders if staying here again.

Clean, spacious property

Property was clean. Size of property/layout of home was great. Could use some updates. Everything was in working order. Beach was an easy walk away. Trash in bins was overflowing when we got there (this may not be a reoccurring problem, we did go in on a Holiday weekend). I would suggest bringing extra towels. There was 1 per person.

Great location

This home was in a great location within Sea Pines. Literally minutes walking to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the Sea Pines club house. It was clean and comfortable. Only “demerit” would be the furnishings are super old. Beds were comfortable just could use a little updating. Otherwise zero complaints and dealing with Vacasa was a dream!

Everything was very good. I hope the sofa gets upgraded. With Covid fabric upholstery should be upgraded for the sake of sanitation. Everything else was very good. Will come back to stay !

Spring Break 2024

Great location!! Walk to the beach. House was fully stocked with bath towels and dishes/pots and pans. I wish they had beach chairs and beach towels. The big negative is that the home is very dated. This property needs some TLC to make it comparable to other properties that I’ve stayed at in Sea Pines for the last 7 years. All in all we enjoyed ourselves and again, the location was awesome!!

Nice, roomy.house in Sea Pines

House was clean on the inside. Beach access path is conveniently located beside the house and has an outdoor shower. We were unable to use the deck as there was a lot of bird droppings and leaves coving the benches and table. We were able to sit on the screen porch after we cleaned the very dirty table and chairs. We did have trouble with a couple of the TVs but the maintenance department responded immediately and fixed the issues.

Grateful for renting this particular house. We were in town to bury our brother and this was the perfect size to house my husband and I plus my three sisters and niece. It is rare to have a bathroom in all 4 bedrooms. Very spacious and accommodating. Housed everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable. All we had to do is bring ourselves and food. The place was very clean. You could tell someone added their TLC. The added bonus was being able to the beach every morning and evening. Loved watching the dogs on the beach. It was extremely affordable for us. Vacasa’s people were super friendly and helpful.❤️

Property was very functional for us due to location, proximity to beach and sea pines activities. However, property was extremely dated. Furniture and amenities need upgrade. Cleanliness of outdoor of property left much to be desired. We had to clean this off ourselves. Water pressure and temperature was an issue when other people were showering or using facilities. Needs upgrade. We Have stayed on the island for well over 20 or 30 years and are well aware of the Lowcountry experience, however, there seem to be a proliferation of insects appearing routinely inside the home. Air conditioning, HVAC seem to be set on specific set times with no ability to adjust. Net net. This property was functional for our needs, but requires significant upgrade.

Never stayed there. Two hours before check-in was told no internet or tv due to cable damage that could not be looked at for 5 days. Was offered a mere 50 a day credit to stay with no TV or internet. Insulting. Thankfully, full refund but very disappointing. The property was very dirty on the outside though and picture of deck was really deceiving. Good location.

Comfy home close to beach

My family enjoyed our stay at 4 Laughing Gull. 4 bedrooms and 4 baths were ideal for us—so nice to have everyone in their own quarters. The dining room and living room were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had a breakfast nook which is nice to have dining options. Also, the screened porch and deck were great places to read and spend time. The walkway to the beach is right behind the house and is a very short walk. We found the home comfortable and quiet. HHI is a beautiful and quiet place to rest and recharge. Note—that spin cycle on the washer is a doozy—can’t hear anything but it when it’s running (think about replacing it). It is sort of funny… Having said that, great place and stay—thanks!

Nice House

Furniture and deco very outdated. But the house was very accommodating. Close to the beach. Very quiet area. Ample sleeping space. Several bathrooms.
