Welcome to Pontchartrain Villa, an elegant Old Mandeville stay with generous living spaces and the easy grace of a historic Southern home. Gather in the full kitchen, dine in a separate dining room, settle into the living room, or spend quiet time in the sunroom porch at the back of the house. With three bedrooms across two levels, including two king rooms and a family-friendly bunk room, the home is well suited for longer stays, lake days, and time spent close to town.

THE SPACE
Pontchartrain Villa opens into rooms with real separation and a sense of style that suit an older Southern home. The kitchen is gorgeous and classic, with a timeless look that feels fully in step with the house itself. Just beyond, the dining room offers a distinct setting for meals, while tall windows bring light into the living room. At the back of the house, the sunroom overlooks the property and offers a quieter place to spend time.

One bedroom is located downstairs, while two are upstairs. Also upstairs, a sweet baby nook just off one of the king bedrooms includes a crib. Altogether, the house includes one bathroom downstairs and two upstairs.

Set in beautiful, historic Old Mandeville, Pontchartrain Villa is within walking distance of the area’s restaurants, bars, and recreational outlets, including the Tammany Trace, Mandeville Lakefront, Fontainebleau State Park, and more. Brooks’ Bike Shop is nearby for rides through town, and the Mandeville Trailhead Farmers Market adds another local favorite close to home. Guests can also spend time along the Bogue Falaya River in Covington, visit the Global Wildlife Center, attend Jazz’n the Vines concerts at Wild Bush Farm & Vineyard, or head to Abita Brewery for an easy Northshore outing.
Rates & Fees
The base rate covers the first 3 guests.
Each additional guest beyond the first 3 (age 3 and over) is $30 per person, per day. Select the correct number of guests at booking time and the system will calculate this fee automatically up to the limit of the platform. Additional guests at the property will be charged manually.
Children 2 and under stay free and do not need to be included in your guest count.
This fee applies to anyone who comes onto the property, not just overnight guests. It helps cover additional wear and tear, increased cleaning/disinfecting, and higher utility usage.
Pets:
• Pets are allowed at this property for $300 per pet per stay.

Events:
• Events may be permitted depending on the type of event, number of people, and number of cars.
• Must be approved by the host in advance.
• Typical cost is $30 per person.

Smoking Policy
• No smoking inside the house or garage.
• Evidence of smoking indoors will result in a $1,000 fee.

General Rules
- Respect neighboring properties—no trespassing into yards or driveways.
- Keep outdoor noise at a reasonable level at all times.
- Quiet hours outdoors begin at 10:00 PM.
- Any amplified outdoor music must be pre‑approved by the host.
- Locations allowed to park: Driveway & parking pad + nearby additional street parking (located ½ block from property). Absolutely no driving or parking is permitted in the grassy areas of the property, as they will rut.
- Fireworks are prohibited anywhere on the property.
- Neighbors are aware that guests stay here—please treat them with courtesy and respect.
- Lock all doors and windows when leaving the home.
- The host is not responsible for accidents, injuries, illnesses, or loss of personal belongings during your stay.
- No off‑road vehicles are allowed on the property.
- Refund Policy:
- 100% refund (less 3% credit card fee) up to 30 days before arrival
- 50% refund (less 3% credit card fee) up to 14 days before arrival
- A pre-authorized damage deposit hold of $2,000 is required or a non-refundable damage waiver of $100/day up to $400. If the damage deposit is chosen it is released a few days following check out provided there is no damage during the guest stay.
- Do not attach anything to walls or ceilings with tape, tacks, or adhesives. Damage will result in charges.
- Please return any moved furniture to its original position. A $100 fee applies if items are not reset before checkout.
- Early arrival or late departure without approval will result in a $200 fee.
- All canceled reservations incur a 3% credit card processing fee.
- Minimum rental age is 25.
- $500 fee for neighbor complaints.
- $500 fee if security is dispatched.
- $1,000 fee if police are called, and guests may be required to vacate immediately without refund.
- $500 penalty + $60 per unregistered person for anyone on the property not included in the reservation.
- Guests must sign the rental agreement prior to check‑in. Keyless entry instructions will not be released until the agreement is signed.
